I was not excited at all for this day since it was my birthday, I don't tend to enjoy birthdays since my parents aren't here to celebrate with me and also it's just a reminder that you're getting older and older, which is mortifying. I turned to my bedside table to look at my phone and my phone had been exploded with messages and missed calls, most which were from Becca.
Whilst I was scrolling through all the notifications I saw that mason had FaceTimed me.
So I called him back, but refused to show my face since I had just woke up and I was a mess.

"I don't recall Andra being a ceiling?"
Mason said.

"I just woke up, I look so bad so I'll pass on showing my face."

"Stop being a baby im sure you look good, Anyways happy birthday Andy, I am coming round tonight so do not make any sort of plans for this evening." Mason insisted.

"Gosh okay noted, no plans for the evening. Thank you but Give up with the Andy." I replied getting off my bed with my phone in my hand.

"WHEYYYYY! Saw your face, now just put yourself back on the call." Mason let out.

"Oh for godsake fine."

After I had cleaned myself up a bit, I propped my phone up on the vanity and I went through my wardrobe asking him to choose what I should wear tonight.

We got through many many outfits, my closet was basically all on the bed.

"And then lastly I have this flowered dress, which I could pair with a cardigan?" I held it up in front of the camera.
I got no reply from him.

"Mase? You there?" I got confused because he was on screen.

"Yeah, yeah I'm here, just lost focus. Yeah wear that. Also wear something you can swim in underneath."

"Alrighty, I'll just wear this white bikini set."

"Yeah, happily go for it." He let out a grin sipping his tea.

"Right I'll call you later or something since I need to reply to everyone, and I need to call becca since there is about 300 missed calls from her."

"Yeah thats cool, see you later, be ready by 7."

"Okay, bye mase." I ended the call.

I scrolled through my phone replying to different birthday messages, then I finally got to Beccas missed calls and called her.

"Ello ello." I said as she answered.

"Would you look at that, the birthday girl finally answered her phone, also come unlock the door."

"Wait you're at my flat? You have a key don't you?" I questioned.

"Well I lost it ages ago but didn't have the courage to tell you so I'd appreciate you came unlocked the door before I get kidnapped."

"Okay wait a second." I ended the call and walked over to the door opened it and I saw Becca was standing there with balloons and many many presents.

"You didn't have to do all this, a simple happy birthday would of been fine."

"This ain't all me, some of it is the boys and Tammy." She said as she struggled to bring everything in.

"Wait how did the rest of the group know?"

"I told them this morning and they all shot up off their arses and got in their cars and fucked off to get something."

"Woah, right didn't know I meant that much to them." I laughed.

"But real question is did mason get you anything?"

"I haven't seen him today, I hope he's got me nothing, but he's taking me out later in the evening? Probably to a beach or something because he told me to wear swimwear."

"Oooo hope you get laid on your birthday."

"Becca shut the fuck up right now." I said with embarrassment.

"Jeez just joking." She smiled.

Me and her spent our time together just watching crime documentaries since I couldn't make plans with her for today.

I kept checking my phone to see if masons messaged me anything since I always wanted to be talking to him. I checked the time, it was now 6:10.

"Right I'll let you stay here, I have to get ready. Ask Tammy to come over if you want to?" I said getting up off the couch.

"You sure?"

"Obviously,why would I ask you to ask him if I wasn't sure about it?" I laughed, tapping Beccas forehead.
She smiled at me then turned to her phone and called Tammy.

I went into the bedroom and started to get ready, I was assuming we were going somewhere with water so I didn't cake myself with make up just so it doesn't smudge all over my face.
My make up today consisted of light coats of mascara, blush and lipgloss since lipgloss is crucial for everything. hair wise I just put it up in a claw clip since I couldn't be asked to do something fancy.

Then I went and changed into a floral patterned dress, with a knitted chunky cardigan, for my shoes I chose to put on some sliders with some Nike socks on.

After I got ready I left my room and saw Tammy already in the living room.

"Hiya Tammy." I said smiling.

"Happy birthday." He said giving me a hug. "Where are you off to?" He questioned.

"Oh masons taking me somewhere in like 20 minutes he should be here."

"Oooo you look good." Becca said coming out of the bathroom.

"Thank you becs."

15 minutes later...

Becca heard knocking at the door and went to answer it.

"Well hello mason." Becca said.

I was so nervous for today and I'm not sure as to why maybe it was because of mason, he makes me nervous but not in a bad way.

Mason walked into the living room.

"Hello all." He said smiling then walking up to me handing me a small gift bag.

"this is for you." He said handing it to me giving me a kiss on my cheek.
"You look good by the way." He whispered into my ear.

"Mase you didn't have to." I said embarrassed since I don't like all the attention I get on my birthday.

"Well I did."

I slowly opened the gift and it was in a jewellery case. I proceeded to open that and revealed a beautiful gold necklace that says 'Moore'.

"Oh my goodness mase, thank you I love it." I said giving him a hug.

"Let me put it on you." Masons took the necklace in hand and wrapped it round my neck. I went to the mirror and kept admiring it.

"Right are you ready to go?" Mason asked.

"Yes." I smiled.

"You two have fun." Tammy said.

Shortly after mason and I walked out of the apartment then got into his car and drove off.

"How come the car is hot for once?" I questioned.

"I put the heating on like 5 minutes before I left to come up and get you since you always complain that it's cold."

"Ain't you such a charm?" I said blushing. I looked at him and smiled.
