"Look who it is." I said placing the dishes on the table as I saw mason walking downstairs.
"This looks so good Andra." Mason said as he walked up to me with his wet scruffy hair, and came and kissed me on my cheek.
"Thank you." I blushed as we both sat down to eat.
A few minutes passed and me and mason were taking our last bites of our food...
"Right so I've been thinking..." mason blurted out after he finished a fork full of spaghetti.
"Oh lord, what now." I said in worry since I never know what mason has up his sleeve.
"I want a dog." He added, I was in the middle of drinking a glass of water and I accidentally choked when he said this.
"A- a dog?" I looked at him confused.
"Yeah, I feel like it would be fun, like a cute Labrador or something." He chuckled.
"Tomorrow we can go to a shelter or something to check some dogs out." I smiled over to mason who had a smile going from ear to ear.
"Yes! You're the best." Mason said walking up to me and giving me a peck on my lips then took his plate to place it in the dishwasher.
After I finished cleaning up the kitchen a bit after dinner, I went upstairs to see mason already in bed so I quickly got changed into some shorts and a cropped top and got into bed myself, snuggling up to mason.
"I've just noticed that it's our first night together in this house." Mason pointed out, with his body turning towards my direction.
"And many more." I said gently placing my hand on his cheek.
"I love you Andra." Mason muttered underneath his breath.
"I love you more Mase." I replied with a tired voice, leaning in to give him a peck and then cuddling up to him so I could go to sleep.
— Next morning...
I gradually woke up to see that mason was no longer next to me, I glanced around the room and I saw him standing in the walk in closet looking at himself in the mirror already fully ready for the day.
"Morning Andy." Mason said looking at me through the mirror.
"Morning to you too mase, why you up so early?" I questioned him barely getting up out of bed.
"We're getting a dog today, we'll I hope." He said with a large grin on his face, almost like a little kid in a candy store.
"Oh shit, I need to get up and get ready then." I leaped out of bed and immediately grabbed a towel so I could take a quick shower.
After a few minutes I finished my shower and then walked into the closet and chose out something to wear. I just chucked of a pair of skinny blue jeans and a black shirt underneath but also pairing that with a white knitted jumper over the top of my shirt since after all it was a half way through autumn so it was getting cold outside.
Then I went over to my vanity to do my makeup, which I kept simple with some mascara, blush and lipgloss.
Me and mason jogged downstairs so that we could put on our shoes, I just put on a pair of airforces like I always do, grabbed a small handbag and then we both ran out of the front door to Masons car, I'm pretty sure we both were ecstatic to look at some dogs since we both were big dog lovers.
— 30 mins later - Dog shelter...
"Look how cute he is." I squealed looking at this yellow poochon that was wagging his tail extremely fast.
"He's adorable, looks exactly like my dog back home." Mason mentioned bending down towards this bundle of joy, licking Masons hand as he stuck it in the dogs enclosure.
Before we decided on which dog we wanted to adopt, we looked at all the dogs in this centre but that poochon felt really drawn to us. Me and mason finished looking through all the dogs there were and we were stood facing eachother.
"You thinking of what dog I'm thinking about?" Mason raised his eyebrows.
"Oh 100%." I replied smiling over to him.
