"Fucksake." I said as I tried turning on my phone to check what the time was but it was dead, I started to panic a little since I had to be up early today because I was going to be meeting masons parents today at their friends wedding so I had to look somewhat presentable.
I quickly jumped out of bed and ran out of my room to ask Becca what the time was.
"Becca, what is the time?" I asked her panting.
"Uhm it's 8:30? Why?" She questioned me.
"Fuck, I have half an hour to get ready. I'm meeting masons parents today." I exclaimed but also I was in panic.
Becca leaped up from the sofa and ran into my room to help me get ready, I quickly threw on a grey 2 piece dress, and paired that with a pair of black heels. I quickly rushed to do my makeup, meanwhile Becca was doing my hair. Killing 2 birds with one stone.
Then after all this rush I heard a knock at the door, Becca ran to open it and it was none other than Mason, he walked into my room.
"You look unreal Andra." He said walking up to me and giving me a kiss.
"Not too bad yourself." I replied with a smile, mason was wearing some formal trousers, with a button up shirt.
"You ready to leave?" Mason asked me taking my hand.
"Yeah I'm nervous though." I giggled as we left my flat.
"You have nothing to be nervous about, my parents already like you from what I've told them about you." He looked at me and gave me a reassuring smile.

Me and mason finally arrived at the venue, my nerves were piling up onto me, I was nervous but excited to finally meet his parents.
"Come on let's go, you'll be okay." Mason reassured me as we both got out of his car and walked down to the venue. We walked towards this couple laughing, and that's when I realised it was masons mum and dad.
"Mum, dad, meet Andra, Andra meet Debbie and Tony." Mason introduced us all.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you darling." Debbie pulled my in for a hug.
"Oh my goodness, I've been waiting for this day for months, so glad to finally meet you." I hugged her back, then turned to Tony and gave him a warm greeting.
"Please do come, let's all sit down." Tony said and me and mason followed his loved up parents to a table.
"So do tell us about yourself." Masons dad Tony asked me.
"Well I have been studying and doing art for many years, it's my last 2 years left for university. I am from Portsmouth originally but then moved up here to live with my auntie and Uncle." I replied.
"What about your parents?" Debbie added.
"Mum." Mason quickly stopped her.
"No it's fine I know she meant no harm, well they both passed away from a car accident when I was young, that's why my aunt and uncle are more of a parent like figure to me." I gave a small smile to Debbie and as she leaned in for a hug.
"What are your guy's plans for the future?" Tony asked looking over at me and Mason, Masons head rapidly turned towards me and mine quickly turned round to face him.
"Well I hope that One day me and Andra maybe move in together and see on from there." Mason answered looking over to his parents then quickly back over to me, he gave me small grin.
"And then I hope we get engaged or something, start a family maybe?" I added onto his answer.
"Ahh grandchildren, I want them badly." Debbie exclaimed leaving us all giggling. Masons parents weren't as intimidating as I imagined them to be but obviously I always think of the worst when it comes to stressful situations... but hearing all this talk about my future with Mason out a big smile on my face since I do want to marry the guy, and possibly start some sort of family with him, I don't imagine me being with anyone else...
— After the ceremony...
"So was it that bad?" Mason asked me as we sat in the car.
"Not at all, I love your parents."
"That's good then, well I'll take you home now yeah?" He asked me.
"Yeah okay." I answered and we drove off.
As we were driving I was starting to notice that Mason was either lost or taking all the wrong turns that we were meant to be taking, i maybe thought he was going for a different route so I just kept silent and didn't speak to him about it. But then after a few minutes we weren't even in the town we were supposed to be going.
"Mason this isn't the way to my flat? This is a completely different way to town? Where are you going?" I questioned him in a concerned tone.
"No I'm just taking a different route to normal since apparently there's been an awful accident, and I didn't want to get stuck in it." He tried reassuring me but I still didn't believe it.
Then eventually we pulled up to these tall, black gates. It almost looked like a private house type thing, I was so confused. We got up to the gate and mason typed in some sort of code and the gate unlocked. How does he know the code to this gate? What is going on.
