shift <3

The shop had finished renovating a few days ago, so I was back at work today, I won't lie I was very excited and I don't know why.

I got up out of bed and put on some black skinny jeans, with a black polo shirt and paired the clothes with some black and white converse. Shortly after I had gotten changed I saw my phone ringing, I go to pick it up and I see mason is trying to FaceTime me.
So I answered his call.

"Hello mase."

"Hello love, where are you off to?" He asked me.

"I've got work today, I literally told you this yesterday." I giggled whilst I was sat at my dressing table doing my makeup.

"I won't lie, I was probably half asleep when you told me since I don't recall that happening." Mason laughed.

I jokingly rolled my eyes as I was applying my lipgloss.

"You look a bit too beautiful for work, who are to exactly trying to impress huh?" Mason raised his eyebrows.

"Myself pal." I gave him a smirk.

"Mhm okay, anyway so my mums friend is having a wedding and she told me that I can bring a plus one and I was wondering if you would like to come?"

"Mason I can't just go to someone's wedding without them knowing who I am."

"Mums friend knows who you are, and plus you'd get to meet my parents?"

"How does she know who I am?"

"Don't need to get into that one, the wedding is tomorrow, I'm coming to pick you up at 9:00 in the morning be ready, right have fun at work."
Mason ended the call.

I finished getting ready and had to grab something on the go from the kitchen since I was running a little behind for my shift, after I got a cereal bar I quickly ran out of the door, forgetting to say bye to Becca, and got into my car and drive off to work.

I had arrived to the shop and I took a look at the renovated outside and I was so impressed with the outside which caused me to be more eager to see the inside.

"Cam and Liz this looks amazing." I said in shock as I walked into the shop with my jaw dropped.

"Doesn't it?" Cam replied with a wide smile on his face, which meant he was happy with how it looked. I walked up to Cam & Liz and gave them both a hug.

"You ready to start shifts again?" Liz asked me.

"So ready, I'm excited to see everybody again. It's strange." I giggled walking behind the till.

"Right we will leave you to do your thing, you call us down if you need anything okay?" Cam said as him and Liz walked upstairs.

"Yeah thank you."

I had gotten straight to the till and I was waiting for customers to arrive to the new and improved shop, I was excited myself with what all my regular would have to say, and then I suddenly heard the door open and i got prepared to see all my regulars.

"Ello Ello." I heard a manly voice call out from a distance, a voice I recognised very quickly and it lit a smile on my face.

"Mase." I said walking up to mason and giving him a peck on his lips then he pulled me into a hug.

"You okay?" Mason asked me.

"Yeah grand, I'm just waiting on more customers to come down to the shop, I miss having conversations with some of the elders." I giggled.

"I'm pretty sure they probably miss you a lot, just as much as you do." He shot me over a smile.

"Right I need to do my shift so if you wouldn't mind." I said as I pulled out of his hug.

"No ones here." He chuckled.

"Someone could walk in any moment Mase, you can stay here bored if you like but if not then I'll can you later or something?" I said walking back behind the till.

"Wow, you wanting me to leave?" He said sarcastically.

"That's not at all what I was trying to say you mug, stay here if you like." I said sorting out the shelves behind the till.

"I'll go sit in my car and I'll drop you off at yours when your finished, just so I save some petrol." Mason said walking over to me giving me a peck on my cheek then leaving the shop to go sit in his car.

I had finally finished my first shift of the year and I was ready to get home and go to relax and chill out after this long day, luckily I had a few regular customers come in and brighten up my day. I walked out of the shop and saw mason sitting in his car, with his phone in his hand. I walked up to his car and knocked on the window and he jumped as I knocked, I could of pissed myself at the face he made when he saw me.

"You got scared a little?" I said as I sat down in the car, leaning in to giving him a kiss.

"Well I'm obviously going to get a little scared if someone randomly knocks on the window." Mason laughed.

"Ready to go home?" Mason asked me.

"Yeah, I'm nackered." I replied laying my head against the car door and took a nap till we got back to my apartment.

"Do you wanna come up?" I asked mason as we stopped in front of the complex.

"I'll let you go to sleep, we both have to be up early tomorrow." Mason said leaning in and breaking the gap that was between us and interlocked our lips together. After we finished kissing I said goodbye and walked up to my flat. I walked in and spoke to Becca for a few minutes before I went into the bathroom to to get in the shower, brush my teeth and remove my makeup.

After I did my night routine, I called mason for a few minutes and before I noticed I started to doze off whilst I was on the call with him...
