"Mason could you take any longer to unlock the door? It's like minus 100 degrees." I said wrapping my arms around myself.
"You're over exaggerating Andy."
"You're more annoying than I thought you were." I said finally walking into his house. I paused to take off my shoes.
"Woah you're house is stunning." I said walking through the hallway to the living room. I paused for a second and my heart sank.
"Mason what is this?" I asked turning to him.
"Carry on walking, and sit down."
As I walked in into the living room I saw a large bouquet of roses on the table with red candles set out beside it with a small box sat on the table. Me and mason eventually got to the table where the rose were sitting.
"Open the box." Mason said handing me this small, cardboard box.
I started to unwrap it and when I got to the base of the box there was an even smaller box inside of it but this time it was a pink velvet case. I took the case out of the box and opened it slowly and was surprised by a ring.
"Mase what's going on?"
"I got you a promise ring. There is a reason to why I have got you this and the reason is that today was the day where I decided it was finally time." Mason said taking a deep breath, his face had gone red.
"Time for what?" I said smiling.
"Andra. Will you be my girlfriend." He said as I looked down at his hands and he was shaking.
"Mase." I said taking a deep breath placing the boxes on the table beside me.
Mason had a slight panic in his eyes, his face dropped.
"Of course I will, I've been dying for you to ask me." I said jumping onto him and wrapping my arms around his neck whilst my legs wrapped around him waist. His hands quickly wrapped around my waist tightly. I had my head dug between his neck and shoulder but eventually lifted my head up and gave him a kiss.
"Are you crying?" Mason said chuckling.
"Shut up." I said sniffling whilst giggling at the same time.
After some time mason finally put me back onto the floor.
"Does the ring fit?" He asked me whilst grabbing hold of my hand and admiring it.
"Perfect." I looked up at him and smiled, then proceeded to give him a hug, his arms wrapped around my head and neck.
