**Kairi POV**

I walked back into the bathroom and got into the shower. Probably one of the greatest showers ever; it was a good 20 minutes. Once I stepped out my hands were like prunes, all wrinkly and gross... But it was worth it. I wrap my towel around my body and start to  blow dry my hair, I always hate blow drying it, it takes so much time and effort because my hair is so freaking long. But I have time today to do it so why not, right? I brush and blow dried it till its silky smooth and made my way out to my room. I adjusted the towel around my chest while I looked in my closet. I grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a baggy long sleeve shirt.

I sighed and walked over to my laptop and trudged over to my bed with it in hand. I hate doing online schooling. It's so boring and pointless. It really annoys me to be honest. I crossed my legs as had the laptop in front of me; I rested my head on my hand that was on my knee. Everything around me became distracting, my nails, the mouse on my laptop, the sealing fan, everything. What should have only took me ad hour to do my math, took me two hours; it was brutal. I groaned and moved into science, worst subject ever. I clicked over to the first assignment, when my phone went off. I quickly abandoned the laptop and grabbed my phone. It was from Rydel? I think I'm assuming.

347-1311: Hey girly! Shopping today?

I hesitated before answering

Me: Is this Rydel?

My phone buzzed again, but this time it was from Ross. I smiled and clicked on his message to see what it said.

Ross: Hey, doing anything tonight?

Me: Not that I'm aware of, I think your sister just texted me, asking to go shopping.

My phone buzzed as I was texting Ross back. I opened the other conversation.

347-1311: Haha yeah, it's me Rydel! So you wanna?

How did she get my number?

Me: Yeah sure! Just have to finish my science work.

Rydel: Alright, pick you up at 1:30?

Me: sounds good! See you then.

I set my phone back down and adverted my eyes back to my computer. In an attempt to finish the science, when once again, my phone went off. I tried to hold back the urge to check it, but it didn't work. I knew it would be from Ross. I too the phone back into my hands and clicked on his message.

Ross: Well I was wondering if you wanna hang out tonight.

I smiled down at my phone.

Me: I would love to! Want to hang out at my place?

Ross: Sounds like a plan, can't wait.

I threw my phone down and went my back to the science.

I somewhat finished it, half way through it I realized what I was wearing, and that I had no makeup on. I pushed my laptop aside, I'm done with this. I walked over to my closet and changed out my ugly long-sleeved shirt and into a navy blue V-neck and slipped a brown belt through my jean shorts. I walked on over to my bathroom and brushed out my hair once more, making it even more smooth. I curled my eye lashes and applied some mascara, adding volume. I walked over to my laptop and closed it down and grabbed my phone.

I made my way down to the kitchen and made some toast. I looked over at the clock and it was 12:49, I rested my arm on the counter top, waiting for my toast.  When my phone buzzed in my pocket. I took it out.

Dad: Hey sweetheart, how's everything going?

I groaned and wrong him back

Me: Good, I finished it.
