**Kairi POV**

The next morning, I woke up more nervous as ever, it honestly felt like I was going to throw up. What if Ross' parents don't like me? I washed my face, waking me up a little more and calming me down some what. I don't know what it is about washing my face; it wakes me up and calms me down. I'm not totally normal when it comes to washing my self. Talking in the shower, washing my face calms me down, yep. That's me.

My stomach started to grumble, indicating me I should probably eat. Trotting my way down the stairs I hear nothing. No TV, no noises from the kitchen. Dad has today off, or at least I think so. I walked over to pantry to get a bowl for cereal, and poured my Cheerio’s in the bowl, and grabbed the milk, noticing there wasn't a note on the fridge either. I finished prepping my cereal I made my way over to the couch. Turning on MTV and scarfing down my Cheerio’s, I glanced out the widow, noticing how nice the waves looked today.

**Ross POV**

"I'll be back later, going for a run." I said as I walked out of the kitchen.

"Okay, don't be to long! We have got a lot of prepping to do for the barbecue."

"I won't mom; it'll be a quick run along the beach." I crammed my feet into my Adidas, and shoved on head phone into my ear. "See you later!" I yelled as I closed the door behind me. Shoving the other head phone in my ear, filling my head with Alex Clare-Too Close. I started my run at slow pace, until I got to the beach pushing myself a little bit more. As I ran down by the shore line I would look over at the morning surfers, doing their thing. This one surfer caught my eye; she was tearing up the waves. I slowed down my run to watch her until she fell back into the water. Wasn't till I saw her teal board fly up, and I saw the faint wording of 'Kairi's Beach'. I smiled to myself as I watched her come up from the water, climbing back up onto her board. I ran my fingers threw my hair, stretching my neck. 'God, everything about her is fucking amazing.' I stood there in awe watching her float on the water. Soon snapping out of it, realizing I need to get home soon. Turning on my heal, I focus back on running.

By the time I got home, I was all sweaty and hot, half way through the run I took my shirt off.

"I'm back!" I yell sprinting towards the stairs, to get to the shower.

"Oh good can you- Ross?"

"I'm getting a shower! I'll be out in a bit!"

I close the bathroom door behind me. Turning on the cold water, I strip down and hop in, the cool water chilling my body.

Refreshed and clean I get dressed and go down stairs to the kitchen.

"What did you need help with?" I asked my as I walked into the kitchen.

"Alright." She paused looking around the kitchen. "Well Riker and Rocky are getting groceries; Rydel and Ryland are cleaning the pool... Oh! You can set up tables and such outside." I nodded my head and went to the garage to get the extra tables for outside. "Oh! And Ross, did you tell Kairi yet?"

-LATER-

**Kairi POV**

"Dad! Are you ready?" I yell down the hall, putting my hair up in a high ponytail.

"Yeah!"

I slip on my Vans and head out of my room. I don't really know what to wear so I just threw on some light jean capris and a dark red baggy shirt. I walk down the stairs and no sight of my dad

"Dad?" I call out

"Yes?"

I squeal and jump, turning around to see him standing behind me "Jeez, dad you know I hate it when people sneak up on me..."
