**Ross POV**
When the door closed behind her, I took a deep breath in and smiled. Finally did it. I turned around to walk back to the car where Riker waited in the diver’s seat. I got in on the passenger side.
"Hurry, we're going to be late picking up mom and dad." I quickly closed the car door and put on my seat belt. I finally asked her out... I rested my head back, smiling to myself.
"I'm assuming everything went well?" Riker asked "She said yes." He looked over at me to see my reaction before looking at the road. I was still smiling like a goof. Even when she's in comfy clothes she looks good. Remembering the moment she opened the door. Her lips are so soft. I love kissing her. She always -
"Dude?" Riker pushed my arm, trying to get my attention "What?" I looked over at him. "Did you ask her if she wants to come to one of our concerts?" He repeated himself. Shit. I fucking forgot. "Damn, no!" I hit my head against the seat. We're going on a short tour around California; we've been planning this for about a month. "I'll just ask her when I see her next." I sighed "Well did you at least ask her to come to the barbecue? Mom really wants to meet her." I remember my mom's reaction over the phone when I told her about Kairi. I'm sure everyone around her knows about Kairi the way she started screaming through the phone excitedly. "Yeah, I at least did that. She said her and her dad would love to go." Riker nodded and turned onto the freeway. "So how are you and that girl? Jocelyn?" He sighed and rubbed his face. "That girl. My god. She is something." I raised my eyebrow and smirked "What do you mean?" He sat there trying to find the right wording to describe her. "Well, I mean. She's hot and all... It's just that when she opens her mouth, it just goes down the drain. In other words she isn't very intelligent." I chuckled. "I guess that's what I get for agreeing to a blind date." Some of his buddies from Glee felt like he needed a girlfriend so they set him up on a blind date. "Dude, just friend zone her." I looked over at him. "I would! But that just seems so mean." I shook my head "No it's fine, just be like 'hey look, I think we should just be friends.' And just walk away." He sighed "I guess."
After about 20 minutes of silence and of me flicking through my mentions on twitter we made it to the airport. Riker parked the car and we walked inside the big building. We looked up at the board of all the flights and it looks like there flight will be coming in late. I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck. All I want to do is be with Kairi right now. I leaned up against a pillar, opening Kairi's text messages, about to text her when Riker walked up.
"I'm going to get some coffee, wants something?" I nodded my head "Just get me what ever you’re getting." Before looking back at my phone I searched the opened space for a seat. Luckily finding one next to this old lady sleeping. I took the seat and turned my attention back to my phone to text Kairi
Me: Hey are you awake?
Riker walked up to me, 2 coffees in hand. "It's just black coffee." I took the Starbucks cup out of his hand taking a sip. Let the hot beverage run down my throat. I hate the taste of coffee to be honest, but I'm getting tired and I don't want to fall asleep. My phone lit up and I picked up to see a text from Kairi
Kairi: Hey you, what's up? (:
Me: Sitting in the airport waiting for my parents to come in, how bout you?
I rested the phone back on my knee and looked over at Riker, who was now listening to music with his eyes closed. I looked at the old lady next to me, mouth open, eyes closed. Great this will be fun...I nudged Riker; he pulled out his headphones "What?" He looked at me "How long is their plane delayed." "Uh, I think like an hour, hour and a half." I groaned and went back to phone to see if Kairi replied
