After a walk in the cold air, watching city lights and big towers, they all returned to the hotel. Previously, they had planned on being out for a little longer, but it was way too cold to stay outside. They all rushed into the hotel rubbing their hands, trying to warm 'em up.
"Go to your rooms and sleep..!! No sneaking out, it's way too cold outside.", Daichi said while holding Sugawara's hands because Suga's hands were always warm.

Place: Kageyama and Hinata's roomBy the time Hinata reached the room, (after finishing his talks with Sugawara, who was giving him some random advice), Kageyama was laying on his bed, half-folded by his waist with knees to his chest.
🎶What the hell did I do?
Never been the type to
Let someone see right through
Ooh🎶Listening to "I Love You" by Billie Eilish on speaker.
Without making any noise he left the room, went to the hotel's restaurant, and bought two hot cocoas. He came back to the room, grabbed some blankets, and sat near the fireplace.
"Kageyama, do you want some hot cocoa?", he asked softly, but loud enough for Kageyama to hear. He waited for a few minutes but got no reply. "Might've slept". Then he heard soft footsteps.
Kageyama quietly came and sat beside Hinata and picked up his cup of hot cocoa. Hinata gave a warm smile, and opened one side of the blanket gesturing him to come in and cozy up..!! Kageyama shifted a little and covered himself in Hinata's blanket.
Hinata pulled Kageyama a bit closer and wrapped him in a quick big hug. They sat there in the calming sound of the crackling fire. Hinata could sense that his best friend was still pretty sad.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
"No."
"It's okay"
Hinata felt Kageyama's strong hands around his waist. His deep red blush would be very explicit if it wasn't for the already orange shade of fire. His head was swirling around, but he tried to stay calm and leaned into him.
"Your hair smells like lavender," Kageyama said, resisting the urge to kiss on his head.
"Oh yeah thanks, it's my shampoo. You can use it too," Hinata replied as calmly as he could. He could feel Kageyama's breath on his skin, "this feels good". "THE DIARY". It always popped up into his head like a reminder that he isn't allowed to have any love or comfort.
Kageyama could see the sense of inconvenience as Hinata tried to wiggle loose from his grip.
"There are things that need to be said. But this is probably not the right time." Kageyama thought to himself as he let Hinata go. "Boke, I'll go to bed now. We have to wake up early tomorrow". Hinata just passed a nod and stayed in his place.
Time: 2:28 AM (past midnight)
Kageyama woke up from his deep sleep for some water. The bottle wasn't on his bedside as it should be. He grunted and stood up. As his eyes drifted towards Hinata's bed, he noticed that it's empty. "Oh no no no no no. not again. Please. I didn't even do anything this time. Or did I?".
His first thought was to run out of the room and start screaming Hinata's name. But as he picked up his jacket, he noticed a tiny person balled up in front of the fireplace. His cheeks were glowing from the light of the remaining fire. A calming shade of orange.
