I sighed and pulled my knees closer to my chest as I stared out the half open window. I heard shuffling next to me and turned to see the ravanette now facing me while still asleep.

His uneven dark hair hung slightly over his right eye and was spiked up in random places. His mouth was slightly parted as warm breath escaped his lips with each exhale. His eyes glided back and forth behind his eyelids.

I reached out and placed my fingers in his hair. I slowly pushed them into his thick hair and grazed through the strands. His eyes fluttered open, and I retracted my hand.

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up," I apologized.

The tall male just lightly laughed before sitting up next to me and rubbing his eyes. He placed his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his body. I snuggled close into his chest as I felt him kiss my hair.

"Don't be sorry Kitten, it's okay," Kuroo whispered.

Kuroo placed his chin on my head and twirled the ends of my hair with his finger. "What's wrong?" he asked.

I sighed and slowly pulled out of his embrace to face him. "I can't sleep."

Kuroo sighed and gazed out of the window. He kissed my temple and quickly stood up. He slipped on the pair of black sweatpants lying on the floor and grabbed my hand.

"Let's go," he said.

I furrowed my brows as he pulled me off of the bed. "Where are we going?"

Kuroo grinned. "You'll see."

I tugged my hand out his grip and crossed my arms. "Kuroo it's 2am, and we have to get up early tomorrow. You should go to sleep."

Kuroo slowly approached me. He cupped my face in his hands, and my skin tingled at the touch. Hazel eyes glimmering with delight approached me, and my heart skipped a beat. Soft lips gently brushed mine, and I leaned forward to fully take them in. I sighed into Kuroo's mouth as he deepened the kiss.

4 years later, and he still makes me feel this way.

His lips pulled away from mine, leaving a distance of centimeters between us. "Kenma, how can I fall asleep when you're still awake?"

Blood rushed to my cheeks, and I pushed the male away from me and turned my head. I heard Kuroo chuckle, and I just knew he was shaking his head as well.

"Fine, let me put on some pants...," I mumbled as I headed towards the closet.

I quickly slipped on a pair of sweatpants and walked downstairs with Kuroo. He grabbed his keys off the counter and walked outside towards his red convertible. He motioned for me to get inside, and I stepped in, despite my confusion.

I placed my elbow on the edge of the car and let the cool night breeze hit my face. I felt goosebumps cover my skin as my straight hair flowed in the wind.

I sneaked a glance to my left and noticed a small smile on Kuroo's lips. The breeze ruffled the tips of Kuroo's hair and every once in a while it would rise and fall with a little "floof." He caught my eye and smiled his pearly white teeth. His hazel eyes glowed with little flecks of brown and gold underneath the pure moonlight.

He's breathtaking.

I faced back towards the side of the road and placed my chin in the palm of my hand.

"Tetsurou?"

"Hmm?"

"What exactly are we gonna do?" I turned my head to face the ravanette.

Kuroo made a slight left turn, and I felt the car throttle around a bit. I peered towards the ground to see the tires making their way across a sandy gravel road filled with countless pebbles.

Kuroo hopped out of the car, and I reached to open the car door.

"WAIT!" Kuroo screamed.

I quickly retracted my hand, and my eyes widened. "W-What's wrong?"

Kuroo made his way to the back of the car and opened the trunk. He pulled out a large navy blue blanket and shut the trunk. He walked to me and opened the door, extending out a hand.

My cheeks felt a bit warm, and I placed my small hand in his. He helped me out and shut the door behind me.

"Why so formal Tetsu?" I giggled a bit as I asked.

Kuroo chuckled and his cat-like eyes met mine. "Because you deserve the world."

My heart fluttered at those words, and a giddy feeling overcame me. I reached out and grabbed Kuroo's empty hand, interlocking my fingers with his. He squeezed my hand and gave me a warm smile, which I returned.

I slowly averted my gaze towards the big blanket stuffed under his arm. "What's that for?" I asked, pointing with my head.

Kuroo glanced down towards his right arm and looked back towards me before answering. "Oh that? You'll see. C'mon!"

He pulled my hand as he picked up his pace, and I had to practically jog to match his large strides. I felt the sand slide under my feet and pebbles dig into the soles of my shoes as Kuroo and I sped through the park trail. Shrubs and leaves quickly crowded my face as we reached the end of the path, and I swatted them out of the way, trying to get to the other side.

I felt Kuroo's grip tighten on my hand as I stepped out of the bushes onto the slightly wet grass. My jaw hung open as I admired the view in front of me.

A large pond of water twinkled under the fluorescent light radiating off of the moon. The horizon glowed with a thin strip of white light where the water and sky met. A light fern green color stretched across the sky, turning into a dark shade of admiral and midnight blue. Small shiny specks of white sprinkled across the sky, mingling with the various shades in the background.

I felt Kuroo's hand slip out of mine as he ran into the open patch of greenery. He spread the blanket across the ground and spun around, throwing his hands up in the air. He laughed and collapsed onto the blanket, placing his hands behind his head.

I rushed forward and knelt down on the blanket. Kuroo's eyes sparkled, his skin basking in the moonlight.

"So what do you think?" he breathed.

I laid down on the blanket and placed my head on Kuroo's chest. I looked up and took in every feature of the sky and stars filling up the sight in front of us.

"Why is the sky green and blue?" I asked.

"It's called a night airglow. When the Earth's upper atmosphere's molecules and atoms absorb solar ultraviolet and X-radiation, it emits a faint light. That's what we're seeing."

I pleasantly sighed. Kuroo always had a fascination for science, especially stars and space. "It's beautiful Tetsurou."

His hand snuck up around my waist, and he pulled me in close. I leaned into his touch.

"I love you so much Kenma," he whispered.

"I love you too Tetsu...," I said, before closing my heavy eyes and shielding the starry bi-colored sky from my view.

I also love Kuroken, so I wrote another one...
