Scene 14 | | It was the Height Of The Fall really....

When the loyal trio drops to a duo.

Last night was Day Four, today is Day Five of the 69th Annual Hunger Games. Two cannons sounded that day, on Day Four. The mutt turned boy from District 6, and the girl from 9. Those were the faces of the kids in the sky. Honestly, Jenesis wasn't able to sleep properly that following night, same with Imani. Now they all had blood on their hands. Especially Imani and Jenesis. Although Jenesis only gave a couple blows to the beast-boy with the knife, Imani was the one to finish him off. In the most brutal way too.

Finnick laid in the white and rich sheets of the Capital woman's luxurious bed. He had been watching the monitor non stop since Day One, and the woman herself didn't mind. The sick cheering and screeching she was doing, along with the whole Capital last night bothered him. But he wouldn't dare show it on his face. While the alliance was running from the Boy from Six, the boy they had turned into some Demi human. Into a mutt that they could function for their entertainment. The boy From 6 had turned mutt while the group was still there, and their faces had all visibly paled.

The running and action of the moment on screen had Finnicks heart in his stomach. The woman was praising and covering her face as she sat on the edge of her bed, apparently
' panicked'.

He had truly expected that one of them would die. But not Jenesis. Anyone of them but her. It was a terrible way to think, but Finnick couldn't help it. It was when Imani got pounced on, pinned to the ground. Everyone had thought the trio would turn into a duo for a moment. Covering their faces, while some were too thrilled and tuned in to turn around. Even the commentators couldn't risk to talk about the moment. Not till after the results of the moment where determined.

It was exciting to the Capital people. Yet scary as well.

Jenesis plunged the knife into the leg of the boy repeatedly. Blood was spraying everywhere fast. Yet, the boys grip didn't loosen on her ally. They were drenched in blood, and the moment was like a action and thriller shot. It was really a Hunger Games moment, and Finnick knew the Capital people would never drop it. So when Treyvon threw his axe to his ally, the same blade he used to kill Queen. Everyone knew what exactly was to come next, and they were right.

Imani had raised the shining blade, and slammed it on the skull of the Boy From 6. The bones in his head shattering and the blood spraying from the wound. She had closed her eyes, and so did Treyvon. Yet nobody, not even Finnick could bring themselves to look away from their screen. It happened, and the alliance was still alive. The trio was still three.

The woman stepped out of the bathroom with a expensive, silk robe draped loosely around her figure.  She batted her eyelashes at Finnick innocently, and he was quick to put on his heart winning smirk. Winking at her flirtatiously, a large grin on his face as he observed her flustered reaction.  It was the same attitude Jenesis nearly hates. Her pale face flushed greatly when she giggled at his action. Her legs a little wobbly as she took each step.

She craned her head to look up at the expensive monitor, covering her face with her palms. Finnick eyed her from inside the white sheets. Watching her expression while she on-looked what the monitor was showing her.

The Career tributes. None of them have died since Queen's death from One, and Finnick can tell they were trying to keep it that way. The look on Slaters face hasn't changed since day One. It was obvious he was thirsty to get his hands smeared and coated in Treyvon's blood. Then Jenesis perhaps. As far as Finnick was concerned, the woman's expression was hard to read. She looked worried but deeply interested, and he couldn't tell what for.
