Scene 6 | | " It's not possible for the future to show in the present " :

In which Jenesis Hammaz sees her future in all sides of the game board.

When Jenesis entered her room, she was already emptying out the contents in her stomach. Great. Now I have to order food to my room, and eat half the food I consumed again. She thought to herself. Jenesis had shoved down most of her food in attempt to distract herself from the scent Finnick dispersed. When Finnick entered the room, everything felt toxic. She was in a hurry to disappear. Never once in her life has she wanted to leave a place so quickly. Besides when everyone stared at her weirdly in the district when she entered a small shop.

But that's not important.

She hunched over the luxurious toilet as she felt almost all the food spill out of her mouth. She gagged and coughed for a minute, before her stomach had decided that it was enough. When she pressed on her stomach and button to get a reaction, she didn't get any weird feeling or tingle. That was good.
Without sparring the contents in the toilet bowl a glance, Jenesis quickly flushed the toilet. Not before closing it and taking safe steps away from it.

Like she was truly flushing down her enemy.

A part of her felt incredibly bad for how her and Zayden acted at dinner today. Maybe it was just her, but she wasn't one to show the most sympathy. Protecting Jasmine and Cinthia from physical and mental harm was a natural instinct of hers. And that "instinct" had got her here to begin with.

She quickly walked over to the mouthwash in the cabinet. She was going to brush her teeth before bed anyways, so she saw no point in brushing. She had rinsed her mouth with the icy mint flavor 3 times, and she no longer had a smell of throw up. But the hunger feeling was quick to come as her stomach muscles clenched tightly.

Jenesis rolled her eyes as she prepared to go back to the machine. The stupid rich machine that would send her automatic food.
When she got out of the bathroom, she had removed her hair from it's braids. Deciding that she would wash her hair the day she goes into the dreadful arena.

They would be washing her hair for her anyways in a couple of days.

She raked her fingers through her frizzy curls as she fluffed them up. They stretched in all angles as she looked in the mirror. She felt like her old self. The Jenesis that didn't know how to do her hair without her mother's finger weaving her curls for her. She was so confused on how to take care of it, that she had left it in a Afro for quiet a while. Walking around her district unbothered with a big bush of curls on her head.
