I opened my eyes seeing rose petals on the bed I blinked and rubbed my eyes I sat up and looked around the room seeing more rose petals. I stood up and walked into the bathroom seeing Marcus sitting at the edge of the tub on his phone he looked up from his phone and at me with a smile.

"Good morning beautiful."

"Good morning."

I walked closer into the bathroom and made my way over to Marcus. He stood up and held my hands.

"How did you sleep?"

"Good I have the day off since I left the hospital at 8:00 this morning."

"I already know I had called Mrs. Brielle and see if you could take the day off and she told me that you had the day off already and guess what."

"What?"

"She told me that I can call her mama Bri you know what that means?"

"You're going to tell me anyways?"

"Damn right I'm in the family well halfway I gotta get that ring on that left finger."

"Right."

"So today I'm spoiling you and pampering you first you're going to take you nice relaxing bubble bath then you're going to get in the shower and wash off. Once you're finished meet me downstairs for breakfast."

"Wait a minute you're cooking?"

"Yeah."

"Okay."

"I can cook I know I never cooked for you but that's changing today I'm catering to you and your every need."

"Okay."

Marcus kissed me and walked out of the bathroom closing the door.

"Alexa play my R&B playlist."

I stripped out of his shirt along with my panties and I got in the tub I sat back and let out a sigh. After the night I had this feels so good right now.

I walked out of the bathroom and into the room I went over to my dresser to get my bra and panties along with a pair of sweats and a t-shirt for don't feel like getting dressed up and I hope Marcus don't mind either. I'm also not going to be wearing any makeup. Once I was dressed I put on my slides grabbed my purse and made my way out of the room and down the stairs.

I walked into the kitchen seeing Marcus pouring orange juice in the glasses he looked at me.

"You look beautiful."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

I walked over to the sink and washed my hands I then dried my hands.

"Have seat on the stool and I'll fix your plate."

I nodded and walked over to the stools and pulled one out I sat down moments later Marcus sat my plate in front of me.

""Okay so where are the carry out plates?"

"There isn't any?"

"But there's no dishes did Mrs. Williams come over and cook this," I asked.

Marcus laughed.

"No baby I really did cook I just clean as I go all of the pots are in the dishwasher."

I nodded and said a prayer over the food then I dug in.

"I see you quite so that means it's bussing huh."

"Shut up."

"It's cool I know my food is bussing my parents taught me well."

I nodded my head in agreement and continued to eat. All of they guys I dated never cooked me breakfast at all Marcus is the first and he's definitely a keeper not just because he can cook but because the way he treats me.

Braelyn
I had just gotten off of a conference call when there was a knock at my door I yelled for whoever it was to come in seeing that it was a man and woman I stood up and smiled.

"Hello I'm Braelyn Braxton."

"Julian and Monica."

"Nice to meet you have a seat."

They both sat down.

"We recently just closed on our house and one of our friends recommended for you to do our interior for our house."

"Okay is there a vision you two have mind?"

"Yes but we can't seem to agree with how we both want the house."

"How about we go over to my showroom and I let you guys look at fabrics as well other interior items for your house."

"Wait a minute you have an interior showroom."

"Of course I'm the best at what I do and I aim to please my clients."

"We'll come on let's go."

I laughed at Monica's enthusiasm then we all stood up I walked over to the door and let them out first and I closed my office door I then lead them down the hall and to my showroom. I turned on the lights and we walked in.

"Start anywhere you like and we'll go from there."

They both nodded and got started on walking around the room I pulled out my business phone and started checking and responding to my emails one of the emails stopped me dead in my tracks. After reading the email I quickly sent it over to my assistant telling her to clear my schedule for a week with my potential client.

"See Ju this is what I'm talking about you not even listening to me?"

I looked up from my phone. I watched as Julian stopped looking at the different shades of paint and walked over to Monica giving her his undivided attention.

"Soon that's going to be us," I jumped slightly at the voice and then I looked up seeing Raheem.

"I'm sorry did I scare you," he asked.

"You did but I'm okay."

"You sure."

"Yeah."

I smiled and I gave Raheem a kiss.

"Okay as long as you're good so am I."

"I am baby."

"Okay."

"What are you doing here anyways?"

"Got bored at work and decided to come over to your job and see you."

I looked at Raheem.

"I'm kidding I have some time on my hands before my next client come in and I didn't want to just sit in the office and wait I wanted to come and see you in your element."

"Okay."

Monica and Julian looked at me.

"Braelyn we're ready to go over the ideas we have."

"Okay."

We walked over to them.

"I hope we're not intruding on you and your client."

"Oh no ma'am I'm not a client I'm her fiancé Raheem."

"Boyfriend," I corrected Raheem.

"Put it out in the universe Raheem and it'll come true."

"Yes ma'am."

Raheem kissed my forehead and I leaned on the table looking at the ideas that Julian and Monica pulled for their vision of how they want their house to look. The next step will be talking about the budget and how much time I have to bring their vision to life.
