I woke up to arms around me I quickly looked over seeing Marcus I started to panic I looked under the covers and seen that I was in his shirt. I slowly sat up and held my head I removed his arm and carefully got up out of the bed I looked at my nightstand seeing two aspirins and a glass of water I took the aspirins and drunk the water. What in the hell did I do last night I thought. I went into the bathroom and turned on the shower I then walked back out of my room and grabbed my phone and walked back in the bathroom closing and locking the door behind me.
I hope I didn't sleep with Marcus and I only known him for two weeks.
After my shower I peeked out of the bathroom not seeing Marcus I let out a sigh of relief and I made my way into my closet and grabbed some clothes then I walked out of my closet and over to my dresser I opened the top drawer and got out my bra and panties I put them on and started getting ready for work.
"Good morning," Marcus spoke as he walked in.
"Good morning."
"How you feeling?"
"Like I got hit by a bus my head is still killing me."
"Here drink this," Marcus walked over to me with a mug.
I took the mug and looked at what was inside.
"What's this?"
"My mama's home remedy for getting over a hangover."
I nodded and drunk the concoction Marcus took the mug from me.
"Do you remember what happened last night?"
"No what did I do," I asked as I pulled my hair into a bun.
"You called me to come and pick you up from the club because you didn't want to take an Uber when I got to the club and over to the bar you was drunk and was trying to argue with the bartender because she wouldn't give you another shot. I brought you to your house and helped you in the house you I walked back outside to get your purse, shoes, and phone out of my car and when I came back I found you in the kitchen taking more shots."
I hit my forehead and sighed.
"Wow I was on a whole 'nother level."
"You was then you broke down."
"I did," I asked.
"Yeah you told me everything that happened between you and Roman and you started questioning yourself."
"I'm sorry you had to hear all of that."
"No need to apologize Nadirah you're dealing with a heartbreak right now which is why I didn't have sex with you last night."
My eyes went wide.
"Yes you wanted me to have sex with you to make you forget about everything he took you through you was drunk and I didn't want to take advantage of you that's not the man who I am plus it's too early for us to even have sex."
I only nodded I then put on my socks and shoes then I grabbed my purse, phone and keys. We both walked out of my room and down the stairs and over to the front door I unlocked the door we walked out I turned and locked the door.
"What time is your lunch break?"
"1:00."
"Okay I'll be at your job to take you to lunch."
"Okay."
"See you later."
"Bye."
Marcus kissed my forehead and walked over to his car I walked over to mine I unlocked my doors and got in automatically locking my car doors I started up my car and placed my seatbelt on. I checked the time seeing that I need to hurry up and grab breakfast and get to work before I be late.
Braxton I rubbed Avianna back as she threw up again once she was finished I helped her up and flushed the toilet.
"You want to take a bath or a shower baby?"
"A bath I don't think I can stand by myself."
"Okay."
I sat Avianna on the counter and she leaned her head back against the wall I walked over to the tub and turned on the water I then added her bubble bath to the water. I walked over to Avianna and helped her off of the counter and helped her out of her clothes. I helped Avianna in the tub and then I sat on the counter keeping an eye on her.
"Are you going to try and eat before we go to your appointment?"
"Yeah."
"What you have a taste for?"
"Waffle House."
"What you want?"
"The All-Star breakfast I want bacon with it."
"Okay."
I unlocked my phone and placed our order I looked up from my phone seeing Avianna leaning back in the tub.
"You okay baby?"
"Yeah."
"Ima let you relax I'll find you some clothes."
"Okay."
I hopped down off of the counter and walked out of the bathroom I went over to the dresser and opened the top drawer I got out Avianna a bra and panties I sat it on the bed once I closed the drawer I walked over to the closer and grabbed a pair of my sweats and a t-shirt I then grabbed Avianna Forces and socks and walked out of the closet. I sat the clothes on the bed and sat the shoes on the floor I walked back into the bathroom.
"You ready to get out babe?"
"Yeah can I wear another pair of your sweats."
I walked over to Avianna with the towel and helped her out of the tub.
"Yeah I already have you a pair on the bed."
Avianna nodded we walked out of the bathroom I walked back into the bathroom and let the water out. I walked back seeing Avianna sitting on the bed with her lotion I walked over to her and stood her up and I got the lotion and started putting lotion on her body.
"Thank you baby."
"You're welcome."
The doorbell rung.
"Go get the food I'll finish up here."
"Okay."
I kissed Avianna stomach then I made my way down the stairs and over to the front door. I can't wait til we go to my mama office and finally get to see the baby and possibly the heartbeat.
