A few days later

I unlocked the door and walked in I closed and locked the door behind me. I walked into the kitchen not seeing Marcus, I walked out and made my way upstairs to our room I walked into the room seeing Marcus sleep with his mouth open I laughed quietly I snapped the picture of him then I made my way into the closet and sat my purse down. I walked out of the closet and walked over to the bed I climbed on top of Marcus he placed his hands on my butt.

"How was your shoot," he spoke as he opened his eyes.

"It was amazing I can't wait for you to see the pictures oh the launch party is next month."

"Okay."

My phone rung I got off of Marcus and answered my phone I froze once I heard my mama crying I dropped my phone and stared in disbelief.

"Babe, baby what's wrong," Marcus asked as he sat up.

I still didn't say anything Marcus picked up my phone and finished the conversation he hung up his phone and walked over to me. He helped me over to the bed and sat me down.

"I'm going to grab your slides then your purse okay."

I nodded Marcus ran into the closer he came back out with my slides he sat then down and placed them on my feet then he helped me up off of the bed.

About an hour later we made it to the hospital we walked inside and was greeted by Omari we hugged and walked onto the elevator.

"How's mama?"

"After me and Marcus got off the phone she fainted so she's in the hospital too."

"Lord did they say what happened with daddy and Brax?"

"Not yet but they're operating on them now."

I sighed.

"Okay is Brae here?"

"Yeah Rah is keeping her calm so she won't go into labor prematurely."

"Okay,"

The elevator dinged and the doors opened we stepped off of the elevator and walked over to where the rest of our siblings are. I went around and hugged everyone I sat next to Avianna and we linked hands.

A few police officers walked up to us and we all stood up.

"Family of Odell and Braxton Beckham."

"That's us," I spoke.

"Is there an update on y'all father and brother?"

"No not yet."

They all nodded a woman stepped towards us."

"I'm officer Hill I was the responding officer on the scene," we all shook her hand.

"What happened," Braelyn asked.

"Your brother and father saw some teenage girls at the gas station one of them talked with your brother and father told them that they needed help because they were sex trafficking victims the guy saw them talking and immediately grabbed his gun ran inside of the store and started shooting at them he didn't have that many bullets unfortunately your brother and father was shot the man thought he killed them but didn't luckily the store had a silent alarm and we was notified and was on the scene with 5 minutes."

"So they saved teenagers from being human trafficked?"

"Yes not only that they helped us bring down an entire ring and we have everyone involved in jail."

"Oh wow."

"Odell and Braxton are heroes and-," before the other office could continue a doctor walked out do the double doors and over to us.

"How are they doctor?"

"Surgery was a success we removed the bullet from both of them Odell have temporary paralysis but with physical therapy he'll be back to his self in no time. Braxton will also have to attend physical therapy as well."

We all nodded then the doctor told us what room they was in and walked away. Another doctor walked out and headed in our direction.

After getting the news that Odell and Braxton was in the hospital I called all of our children and I rushed to the hospital once I was told why they was in the hospital I passed out. Once I came to the nurse came in and told me that I had a panic attack there was a knock at my door and it was nurse Lisa with a wheelchair for me.

"Odell is out of surgery he's awake with your kids and he's asking to see you."

"Okay."

"Do you feel strong enough to walk?"

"Yes."

"Okay I'll be next to you if you need me."

I nodded she wheeled the chair out of the room I swung my legs over the edge of the bed she walked back in and helped me up out of the bed. We walked out of the room and down the hall we made it to Odell and Braxton room we opened the door and Odell looked at me.

"How are you baby?"

"I'm okay."

I walked further into with the help of Omari and Marcus Odell scooted over for me to get in the bed with him.

"Are you okay?"

"Seeing your face absolutely I am temporarily paralyzed though but with the help of physical therapy I'll be back walking again just going to take some time."

"Okay."

"Why were you walking in with a nurse?"

"I had a panic attack once I found out that the both of you got shot and I passed out."

"All three of you scared us," Nadirah spoke.

"Right," Braelyn spoke.

"We're sorry," Odell spoke.

"Where's Ari," Odell spoke.

"She's with my parents," Avianna spoke.

"Call them and tell them to bring me my baby girl."

"Okay."

Avianna called her parents Odell wrapped his arm around me and I laid on his chest.

"I thought I lost you O."

"You'll never lose me baby we're dying together well Ima try and make sure that we do."

I shook my head I let out a yawn and snuggled closer to Odell.

"You tired."

"I am."

"Get some sleep I think I'm going to get some too."

Odell kissed me and the kids said aww I smiled and closed my eyes.
