How can we abandon this fairytale where instead of a prince charming, a prince puppy Yunlan comes to the rescue of the damsel in distress, Shen Wei.
And on a serious note, no apology is enough for the delay. So without further ado, let's see what happened to Yunlan after he was tied in the backyard, or how is Shen Wei doing after being attacked by his dog.

Shen Wei tossed and turned the entire night but sleep spared no mercy. The flashes of Yunlan attacking him kept him up and restless. He was still not able to believe that Yunlan attacked him.
"You... You alright?"
A masculine voice brought Shen Wei out of his inner turmoil. He quickly sat up to find his older lover at the doorway.

"I'm... I'm fine," Shen Wei swiped his palm across his forehead and only then he realized he was sweating.
It was a cold night with heavy rains drenching the city and here Shen Wei was sweating. Xinci could sense the distress. He placed himself on the edge of the bed.
"You know you cannot lie to me," Xinci lovingly caressed Shen Wei's cheek with the pad of his thumb.
His touch instantly soothed Shen Wei. He leaned forward and rested his face on Xinci's chest, buried himself in the warm embrace of his older lover.
Where Shen Wei was trying to ease his troubled heart in the arms of his lover, Yunlan was all cold and alone, and on the verge of losing consciousness.
Yunlan's eyes were drooping, the rain had stopped but the cold wind made him shiver. He was trying to stay awake but was failing miserably. He held on to the post that he was tied to, to stay upright but his human limbs were failing him.
He was too tired, too cold, and too alone. It was Yunlan's luck that the moment he let his eyelids fall, Da Qing entered.
Da Qing's eyes swelled to see a drenched Yunlan slowly collapsing on the ground.
"Yunlan!" He rushed.
It was extremely confusing to see Yunlan tied to the post. A gasp left his lips when he touched Yunlan. He was burning. He quickly removed the collar, only to find his neck bruised by it.
Yunlan's overall condition worried Da Qing.
"Yunlan, wake up, buddy," Da Qing was panicky yet a lot gentle in his tone as he held Yunlan in his arms.
He got no response. He waited no more and picked Yunlan. He knew waiting would only make matters worse.
