When Yunlan said, "his Shen Wei is beautiful," he wasn't lying. The pup found his owner the most beautiful.

And watching and admiring him had become one of his favourite things. He just watched, he blushed, and then he continued watching.

Yunlan watched Shen Wei while he cooked, while he wrung the clothes, while he cleaned, while he talked to the customers, and while he just simply existed.

Shen Wei was the most beautiful sight ever for his pup. He watched and smiled to see Shen Wei spraying the flowers and the way he looked more beautiful than all the flowers. He could not help but smile like idiots to see his beautiful owner.

"If you are done with your daydreaming, Yunlan, would you mind continuing mopping the floor?"  Da Qing taunted with a mocking smile on his face.

Yunlan quickly looked away and continued moping the floor, too embarrassed to look at his employer now. Da Qing smiled to himself to see how Yunlan admired Shen Wei.

Da Qing turned towards Shen Wei who was giggling at his phone, his smile vanished. He knew it was Xinci's text. Lately, Shen Wei found the tiny piece of technology much more interesting than his friends because, for one, it was a gift from Xinci, and two, it was always Xinci calling or texting him.

He quickly turned his head towards Yunlan, only to find him covertly looking at Shen Wei and blushing. He felt bad for the pup, knowing that he had no chance with Shen Wei.

"Yunlan, calm down, you are overreacting," Shen Wei stood, his hands spread on his side, constantly on alert while Yunlan kept growling at him. He seemed ready to attack and bite his owner.

"Shen Wei, I have never seen him getting this angry at you," Da Qing whispered while he, himself, remained cautious with his eyes constantly on an angrily fidgeting Yunlan, "What did you do?"

Shen Wei moved his head towards Da Qing, his gaze nervous.

Flashback

"Aww, what a cute puppy!" Shen Wei picked the fluffy pocket puppy. He giggled when the small puppy yawned, "I have never seen such a cute dog, oh god!"

End of Flashback

"You have committed a felony. He is right to be mad at you," Da Qing moved aside and plopped down on Yunlan's mattress, now watched the owner on defence mode and the pup ready to attack him.

Shen Wei's jaws dropped to see his best friend leaving his side.

"You touched another... another dog!" Yunlan gritted teeth, low growls left his lips.

Shen Wei gulped. He had never seen Yunlan getting mad at him, "I'm... I'm sorry, Yunlan?" Shen Wei was soft in his speech, the way he knew always worked with Yunlan.

Yunlan growled and snarled. Shen Wei backed, Yunlan advanced with slow and predatory steps.

"Yunlan..."

And before he could complete, a gasp left his lips when Yunlan growled again. Without losing another moment, Shen Wei ran off, the only escape he could think of right now.

And Yunlan ran after him.

Da Qing shrugged, "What happens when he knows about Xinci."

A sad smile graced his lips realising it was going to be heartbreaking for Yunlan.

"He is old enough to be your father, Shen Wei, use your brain!"
