The War Faerie

chapter six

Charlotte's POV

"I MANAGED TO CONTROL MY POWERS!" I told Luna and I was so excited I practically was jumping. Then suddenly everything went black. And then I collapsed.  I heard this sound, more like whispering voices. 

"Charlotte!!" a bunch of voices started whispering my name. Then a tall thin figure started walking towards me. Her heel making an echoing sound when she took each step. I started seeing a better image of the figure. It was a woman, she had straight long, black hair, and she was wearing a long white dress with golden greek symbols at the bottom. Afar her face was beautiful but when she came close, she was Ugly. Her face was demolished, and she had way too much make-up. She looked like over a hundred years old. Then I realised who she was...

Liadan.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Charlotte Anderson. I know that you have heard about me, but we've never actually met in person. I've been looking at you, inspecting you." said Liadan.

"Oh, so basically you've been spying on me" I spat when I spoke. She took away mine and Luna's parents.

"I see you have a tongue" Liadan said whilst she walked around the room. "Do you want to know why I summoned you here? I'm not even going to let you answer I'm just going to tell you." Liadan said with a grin on her face.

"You were born on 15th June 2009. That was my favourite day. By the way that you are looking at me you know that that day was the day I started the first war. And obviously I won the war. If you are listening which by the look on your face you are, I said the first war, I'm going to start a second war!" Liadan started laughing maniacally.

"YOU BITCH! YOU KILLED OVER A MILLION FAERIES AND HUMANS IN THE FIRST WAR FOR NO APPARENT REASON! WHAT'S THE REASON FOR THE SECOND WAR!" I regrated saying those words as soon as they left my mouth. I felt that hot ball of lava in the middle of my throat. I felt a huge pain in my head as my horns shot out. And I transformed into myself and started throwing big fire balls at Liadan, but I always missed.

She stayed teleporting and the last time she came she slipped something into my pocket, after that she started punching me and kicking me and then she disappeared.

The minute she disappeared it was pitch black.

Luna's POV

When I entered the medical dorm. The Healers put Charlotte in a bed filled with monitors and tech.

"Don't worry Charlotte is going to be fine she may wake up any minute now." said one of the Healers.

They stated that Charlotte was in a coma, but overall, she's fine, mentally. Physically, no. Apparently when Liadan took her and trapped her in her mind she stayed beating her up and bruised her everywhere. And she was severely damaged.

Liadan broke Charlotte's right wrist, left ankle, gave her a black eye and she dislocated Charlotte's knee.

The Healers say that she has a couple of months so she can recover and three months of physical therapy.
