The War Faerie

Charlotte's POV

I didn't know where to go but then I remember that Principal Green taught us on the first day of school that if there ever was an attack, we go to the panic rooms. But when I went to the panic rooms, they were all full! So, I had no choice but to go to the playground.

Everyone was lined up neatly in four lines. The teachers and staff all had weapons, wands or their powers in their hands. I scanned the lines, but I couldn't see Luna. When I'm about to head to the Principal, I notice a figure from the corner of my eye: a small figure with dark, wavy purple hair running out of the school. She looked back, her eyes said it all, I know what she's going to do, and I need to stop her.

As I'm running, I feel my head becoming heavier and with each step that I take my heart goes slower and slower. My hands go numb. The numbness slithering through my body like a snake. When the numbness reaches my legs, I immediately collapse. When I collapse, I hear people screaming and rushing over to me. As I'm closing my eyes, I see at least every teacher in the school. With all my strength I whisper in a weak voice "Go back out there, Liadan is coming, defend our school" and with that I closed my eyes. My last thought was about Luna that I couldn't stop her, she was already in danger by Liadan because she was friends with me, but now she has broken one of the rules. Which means she's in grave danger.

Luna's POV

"So, what do you say because we don't have much time left?" I knew this decision is hard to make but we don't have much time.

I am so mad at myself, I can't believe I left when Charlotte collapsed, it happened again! So, I'm counting on Max to control all the elements. But even if she has all the four elements. But even if she has the powers, she won't have the type of training that Charlotte has.

"Max, I know this isn't an easy decision, but we don't have any time!" I'm so worried that my plan may not work! I mean then maybe Liadan's plan may succeed! WHAT HAVE I DONE!

Connor's POV

Sometimes I hate working at the cave, it's so boring! And it's not like I can go to Alfea, Charlotte was right, I am too weak to go to the border. The last time I went a troll attacked me and I couldn't defend myself, thank Asintmah that I had my phone, so I texted Luna. Luna had to stay coming from Charlotte's bedside to my safety because I was so stubborn, and I had this amazing idea in my head that when Charlotte would wake up, I would be there by her side. I just wish I could be a powerful faerie! Maybe I can practice martial arts and I can start defending myself with my fists instead of using the little magic that I have.

I hear a ding and check my phone, it's a text chain with Luna and Charlotte.

Luna🌙: Hey guys, wanna go to the café tonight?

Charlotte🔥: Sure, just after school and not at 4:30AM!

Me🎮: I'll tell Gunther to do us a reservation 🙃

Luna🌙: We'll come after school 😉

"Hi, I'm trying to find a Connor O'Brien?" someone said in a sweet voice, I looked up and saw a woman with a big smirk on her face, she looked really familiar, but before I could recognize her, I was picked up and put under a spell that didn't even let me move, then I was taken away. When I heard her voice, I knew exactly who she was. She was...
