chapter eight

Charlotte's POV

"So, Luna, what do you think I should do? Should I tell a teacher?" I stayed asking Luna, but she just looked pale. and I knew why. I was not sure If I should tell her regarding all her history with Liadan. "Ok Luna, sit down" and I motioned to Mr. Byers' class. she sat down at a desk.

"What's wrong with Luna?" he whispers to me, and I whisper back "I'll tell you outside."

So, I explained to him "Liadan spoke to me in my mind, and she told me that the day I was born was the day she started the umm war and that she wanted to start a new war, she didn't tell me the date, but I think the second war is going to start on my birthday but this year!" I was worried that he would shout at me. But instead, then he told me something that shocked me to my core, "Charlotte, now listen to me very carefully, you are not going to tell anyone about this! You've already shocked Luna and she looks like she saw a ghost, we do not want something like that happening again! he just walked back into the classroom to Luna.

I was left dumbfounded; I cannot believe that the person that I trusted the most in the world did not want me to say something that would help faeries and mortals! I was so angry that I felt like I was going to transform but I was stopped by the announcement on the loudspeaker. "EVERYONE PLEASE EVACUATE THE SCHOOL, WE ARE UNDER ATTAK! I REPEAT WE ARE UNDER ATTAK!" Principal Green shouted.

I ran into Mr. Byer's office to run out with them, but they were already gone. I was alone.

Luna's POV

I felt like I was going to faint. When Charlotte asked me what she should do, I could not even answer, I was shocked by the news. She realised that I was very shocked, so she took me to Mr. Byers' class, they were talking in low voices and then they went outside to talk properly.

I wanted to go with them, but I was feeling to dizzy to even stand up.

A few minutes later Mr. Byers came looking crossed, but when he saw me just smiled and asked me how I felt. Something was off, but I just didn't know what was off about him today. I was interrupted from my thoughts when Principal Green spoke on the loudspeaker: "EVERYONE PLEASE EVACUATE THE SCHOOL, WE ARE UNDER ATTAK! I REPEAT WE ARE UNDER ATTAK!" my thoughts immediately went to Charlotte.

I ran out of the classroom and went running towards the playground.

I couldn't see Charlotte anywhere.

I felt a hand around my shoulders, it was Mr. Byers' hand and he whispered in my ear "Charlotte's going to be ok, she's with the principal for safer protection."

Then I remember what Charlotte told me about before: that Liadan is going to plan a second war, far worse than the first world. This time she wasn't going to rest until she won, even if it was the last thing that she will do!

Charlotte was the only person that can defeat Liadan. And Charlotte needs help, so we need more recruits, and I know exactly who our next recruit would be.
