Reminiscence of the Past (Enishi Yukishiro x Reader)

Chapter 10

"Nothing happened." Y/N changed her face into a polite one. The clothes he bought back for her was a night gown. "Thanks." Y/N told him. Enishi looked suspicious of her, but he shrugged off his personal feelings. Y/N took the clothes and changed into them. "You should get to bed." Enishi sighed and immediately left his office. Y/N left the room soon later, she didn't bother to follow after him, her entire mood was completely ruined by Wu. The next morning, she could hear many footsteps going back and forth throughout the whole property. Y/N immediately got to her feet and barged through the door. She could see many servants pacing back and forth, they were packing. From downstairs she could see Enishi talking to... Wu. The sound of his name made her blood boil. If she didn't have the manners or patience, she would have punched that man in his balls so that he could produce any offspring.

Y/N tamed her for a few seconds before climbing down to meet with the two men. Wu saw her from the corner of his eye and gave her a menacing smile. She gave him a sarcastic smile back. Enishi watched the two with a curious glance, but shook off the slightly awkward tension that remained in the room. "Well then, boss, I will send off your things onto the ship for your travel to Japan." Wu gave a polite bow. Y/N blinked twice, he was going to Japan... now? Y/N's eyebrow furrowed, did Enishi have no intention of taking her at all? Was he just going to leave her without a single word? Y/N hadn't even packed her things, she would rather go with him and risk her life than stay with the preposterous man. "Have you prepared her things too?" Enishi suddenly demanded. Wu looked startled for a slight second before answering. "I... no I haven't. I assumed that you were going to leave the girl here." Wu explained. Enishi crossed his arms and gave a bored look at the smaller, and less stronger, man. "She's coming too. I don't trust her to stay here." The last comment made Y/N a tad bit annoyed that Enishi didn't trust her, but she was delighted to know that he was taking her along for the ride.

"Understood. I will ask the servants to prepare her things immediately. Have a good trip sir." Finally, Wu left. That was the last time she was going to see him in a while. Y/N smirked as she left like she won the nonexistent battle between her and Wu, with the support of Enishi. Enishi noticed her puffed up chest and raised his eyebrow. He opened his mouth to say something, but shut it. "Come, let's get on the carriage." Enishi said before walking out with Y/N running up before him. They hopped on the cart and waited. "Isn't this exciting?" Y/N was the first to start off the conversation. Enishi glanced at her with a curious gaze. "Excited for... war?" He was confused by her understanding about 'fun'. Y/N let out a small laugh. "Silly, no! Of course not. We're visiting another country! I can't wait to experience their culture!" Y/N beamed. "We're not there to have fun." Enishi responded. "You are such a killjoy." Y/N shook her head in disapproval before looking out of the window. The carriage began to move and she watched the building go by. Enishi laid back onto his seat and closed his eyes. He wasn't able to get a good rest because of two things. First, the Battousai. Second, her. He couldn't stop thinking how his body fit perfectly onto hers.

Soon later, they arrived at the port where a large ship awaited them. Y/N was shaking out of pure excitement. They climbed on and she leaned over the railings to see the beautiful sight of the ocean. She had never experienced the salty breeze of the sea, it was nice to take in all of nature's beauty. Y/N's hair went everywhere, she had a hard time trying to keep it still from the wind. Enishi noticed her constant movement of her hands roaming all over her head and pulled out a ribbon. "Here." He handed it to her. Y/N looked at his hand and took it from him. "Where on earth did you get this ribbon?" Y/N questioned him. "It was left there from our... previous night." He coughed, he felt sort of awkward for saying it out loud. Y/N giggled and used the ribbon to tie her hair. Finally, she could stare off to the horizon without any hair problems. Enishi just watched her from behind him, he felt a smile creep onto his face.
