Hatred only gets you so far, I know this for a fact. Scorning one's enemies is childish. Learn healthy respect for foes, otherwise, your strength will be lopsided. - Gakushu Asano( Assassination Classroom).
The boy pondered as he moved around in his room. The abnormal silence ensues inside the boy's room. It was never quiet for Izuku who was usually mumbling as he thought. 'What is meant to be a hero? To save and protect people with a smile. Isn't that what heroes should do?'
However, the words of Sir Merchant clashed against his thinking. "This is the reality where people still kill regardless. This is nothing new." Making Izuku's ideals naive and foolish. He wasn't wrong as Izuku's former mentor lectured him before he 'died.'
And Izuku knew that as well... But it was hard to accept a difficult and heavy truth. Yet, He did not know what to do despite already knowing what to do. But rather, an emotional conflict in his beliefs stirred inside him.
"Honestly, the world that you are living in is far different from where I once lived in, kid. Don't get me wrong but I ain't going easy on you. Either 'your world as well. So-

Be prepared for the worst... as Izuku scribbled those words repeatedly until he finished a whole book. To be fair if anyone saw what he wrote. They might think that he has gone insane after his quirk was affected mentally and physically that brought suspicion to many already. And he doesn't want any more of his secrets leaking out. It would be bad if the others would use this to their advantage.
As he watched the day becoming gloomy through his one window. He opened the window and looked down to watch the cars pass by as they zoomed down the road.
The day that disaster will strike. He will not save everyone all at once. There will always be sacrifices to be made in the end. He knows that but if. What if-
"Izuku?"
He turned to the door in his room. Mother. She must be worried about him since he was too quiet. He was too quiet to be himself... then again, he had changed... He already accepted the hardships with a heavy heart as each blow took something precious to him.
No... he still has his mother on his side... She should be happy... or he won't be happy... Does it feel right to see others happy with a smile? Why does everything feel wrong? Why is he feeling like this? Why-
"Izu- Izuku!"
His face was suddenly lifted and forced to see his mother holding his face with a worrisome expression. Tears threaten to leak out from her eyes. Her skin became tingly pink. That is when he realized that he let his guard down and that his mother was upset...
"!!! Ah, sorry, mother... I-"
"Izuku, why are you apologizing? You did nothing wrong." She tilted his head side to side as she scanned for injuries. "Why are you upset?"
