With a screaming sensation, Victor moved.

And everything went off with an ensuing blue fiery explosion.

As the smoke from the explosion begins to disperse. One hand, Victor was holding Izuku around his waist while the sobbing man held one in one hand. Another hand outstretched with a nasty 3rd-degree burn mark. Despite the stinging pain, he stood his ground against the other man before them.

Unlike the sobbing man in his hand. He got a good look at him. The sobbing man was wearing a full-on black and white tight skinsuit that covered his whole body from the head to the bottom while the attacker was wearing a stitch-up navy dark coat with silver linings. Unlike the sobbing man, Victor could see the horrific burns that sunk into parts of his face.

Guessing part of the burnt skin would indicate his quirk could be activated on his body. Victor stood back at a distance in case. Izuku was struggling under his hold. Most likely, thinking to do something stupid.

Victor cursed. Why does every kid who has the hero trait? Just run in blindly? Curse you! ALLMIGHT and your stupid idiotic influences are killing this generation faster than the previous. As he tightly gripped Izuku.

He whispered, " 'Bob'(Izuku) if you are going to do something idiotic then I preferred it not here or now..."

Izuku scowled back, "who are you calling (Bob?)"

"Well, I know you are going to do something stupid. Doesn't mean that the actual 'you'( Izuku) are supposed to be out there without any bodyguards," Victor retorted. Izuku shut up after that fact that he would do.

At least, Izuku can think a little more rationally. He knew that retorting the use of quirk is illegal but it was awaiting death before them. Even he knows Victor would have some advantage over the burnt lanky man. But with two burdens (him and the sobbing man), the advantage would be difficult to turn in favor in his hand while being on defense.

The silent stand-off was broken as the Blue fire user spoke,

"Oi. you with the two luggage in tow. Get your ass here so I can roast you and the two others."

Izuku was about to reply until Victor retorted with a snarky tone, "Not with a threat, Shaggy smokey urchin poof ball."

Booom*

"Tsk..." The man blasts a large blast at Victor but he narrowly dodges it with a stinging mark of burnt ashes on his clothes as a consequence. Victor was not happy to smell his slightly burnt clothes as he mentally said, 'Okay, Mr. flame on a stick.' With fewer options to choose from, he decided to withdraw back rather than facing head-on.

Even better to retreat with two people in his hands. After all, Victor was never fire-proof to be made for long-range quirk users. Even Izuku can heal but exposure is never a good thing to have. But Izuku had other plans as Victor began to execute his plan to retreat.

Izuku slipped through the gap as Victor moved back to see the man was about to attack Izuku.

"Oi- Are you-"

Izuku raised his hand to assure Victor, "It's alright. I was trained to be a (Hero) (Hitman)."

Izuku signals Victor to locate the man in another area from danger. Victor wasn't the type to be stubborn like Izuku. So he let it slide as he ran into the shadows with the sobbing man in tow.

Izuku on the other hand would join them later on. As he saw the flames grow brighter, he knew that he was on a limited schedule. Meanwhile, Victor carefully escorted the sobbing man to one of his bases close by. Only a few meters away that Izuku and Victor could have made it if the unexpected scenarios did not occur.
