Minghao's eyes opened. A ray of light seeping from the half-shut window, blurring his eyes. He turned his head to the side, seeing a silhoutte.
Junnie?
"Are you up, Haoie?" The silhoutte spoke, stepping closer, close enough for Minghao to realize who it was.
Oh... Yanan...
Minghao got up, a bit too abruptly. "Ow..." Minghao winced in pain.
"Are you alright? Does it still hurt?" Yanan immediately rushed to Minghao. "Sorry, I got carried away last night."
Last night?
Oh... right.
"No, it's okay. I was the one who asked you to." Minghao tried to get up the bed, but staggered.
Yanan helped him get up. "If you're not feeling fine, you can rest a bit more."
"No, I'm fine." Mingha smiled, but flinched right after from a sudden realization. He looked down his torso. "I'm... clean?"
"Yeah, you fell asleep right after. So, I-"
Minghao quickly covered Yanan's moith with his hands. His face glowed a bright red color."Haha... that's enough please." He slowly removed his hands from the taller boy's lips. "But thanks."
Yanan smiled fondly. "Don't worry about it." He pat the Chinese boy's hair, ruffling the soft silver locks. "I made breakfast. Do you wanna eat?"
Minghao nodded. "Thanks."
"You don't need to thank me. I do this because I like you." Yanan grinned.
Minghao felt a heavy weight in his heart.
A weight that appeared due to the concequence of his actions.
I'm sorry...
"Where's my beer?" Minghao yawned, rubbing his eyes.
Yanan raised an eyebrow. "You're drinking beer first thing in the morning? No can do."
"No, I was just asking." Minghao stretched his arms. "I'm not drinking now. Maybe later. Feel free to join me."
Yanan sighed. "Alright."
Minghao smiled. He tried to stand up by himself, but winced in pain as he felt his lower body slightly aching.
Yanan held out his hand. "Come on. I'll help you walk. Don't force yourself."
Minghao took Yanan's hand and stood up.
They walked to the dining area, where the table was set up.
"Sorry, this was all I could cook up." Yanan scratched the back of his head.
"No, you didn't have to really, but I appreciate it." Minghao said, eating rhe omelette.
"Ahh." Yanan opened his mouth.
Minghao raised an eyebrow.
"It's the price you have to pay for the breakfast I made." Yanan chuckled.
Minghao scoffed. "Wrecking my ass last night wasn't enough?"
The words that came out of Minghao's mouth left Yanan blushing.
"Why you even blushing? I'm the one that's- Whatever." Minghao took a spoonful of the omurice and held it out. "Just eat it, please."
Yanan giggled like a child, opening his mouth for the food to come in. "Thanks, Haoie."
