chapter XI

tomorrow is the day that we all meet up, meaning today was tuesday.

bsf/n, bsf2/n and i were all on a call just fucking around on roblox for fun; none of us were streaming. amongst the array of deez nuts, ur mom and inside jokes that were said were uttered a few words about the events which would take place the next day,

"what are you guys planning to wear tomorrow? i dont wanna be over-dressed" bsf/n asked,

"im honestly not sure... but i definetly want to dress well" i answered, bsf/n hummed in response.

we all thought in silence for a moment before bsf2/n spoke, "we should wear those cottage core dresses we bought together! we can all match" she smiled, being the only one with her camera on.

i thought back to the dresses she mentioned. mine was fit and black with little flowers on it and puffy sleeves, bsf/n's was off-white with a corsette-ish kind of waist, the colour complemented their dark skin quite nicely and bsf2/n's was light pink with a flaired out skirt and puffy sleeves like mine. (_Xiaoo told me to be annoying and "imply" that bsf/n is black bc they're based off of them-)

"yes please can we match" i pleaded, "i love those dresses!"

"yeah sure we can match, you guys can come to my house earlier than the others too so we can do our makeup together" bsf/n offered,

"ok " bsf2/n and i said in unison.

soon after, we ended the call because we were all getting a bit tired. as i was about to head into bed i saw my phone light up on my desk, indicating that i got a notification. i picked it up and sat down in bed, beginning to check the screen. it was a text from karl. i smiled the moment i saw his name and proceeded to read the message.

the next day bsf/n, bsf2/n and i had all finished up our makeup and were waiting for the others to arrive.

george arrived the fastest, arriving exactly at 5, because... i dont know he always just appears... quackity was second, making it to our complex around 5 minutes after george and the last of them were sapnap and karl who were no where to be found...

about 10 minutes later, (and after a few phone calls) the doorbell rung and i got up to get it, motioning to bsf/n that i would as i did so.

i opened the door in one swift motion, grey eyes meeting mine. i smile sweetly at him staring into them as they drew me in making me blush slightly.

a not-so-discreet whisper disturbed our moment </3, "dude she's totally into u" pussyboy 'whispered' into karl's ear.

i didnt even notice him there :|

i slightly cleared my throat and ushered for them to come inside with the rest of us,

"hey mamas i dont think we've met" the highschool senior said on our way over to the others.

i gave him a dead panned expression in response, "no yeah and lets keep it that way"

once we reached the others we all collectively decided to go eat and once we were done with that we could just fuck around the city a bit.

seeing as it was octobre, it was chilly. a short sheer dress isn't ideal for this weather so i brought an oversized leather jacket with a fluffy inside with me.

once we were in the restaurant we all sat down, i sat in the corner with karl right next to me and bsf2/n infront of me. beside her sat bsf/n and george and beside karl sat sapnap and quackity.

the restaurant we were trying out was a korean bbq where you have a hot plate in the middle of the table (in our case 2) and you grill the food yourself.

we were chatting and cooking and eating, kind of in a cycle the whole time, never getting bored of each other. karl looked red the whole time though.... maybe he's just hot from the steam haha

while setting one of my pieces of meat down to cook, i wasnt really paying attention and the sauce i poured on top hit my thumb a bit, burning my skin a little.

since im a master at acting, (#gatekeep #gaslight #girlboss) no one really noticed... but when i hissed a bit at the pain i caught karl's attention. he swiftly took my hand and checked for what i had done to it, noticing a small blister beginning to form. i looked up at him and he smiled back at me then reached for something in his pocket.

he cutely pulled out a patterned band-aid and he rapped it around my thumb, not letting go of my hand once he finished.

we sat there with interlocked fingers for a short while before a loud-ass 'wingman' failed at his job once again,

"lets go karl!" he exclaimed, frightening karl a bit causing him to let go of my hand. he looked irritated at nick for obvious reasons but i just let it be.

soon after we payed and left the restaurant, deciding as a group to go walk by the river that wasn't too far away.

the walk we took as a group was nice and calm as we were all a bit tired...
karl and i ended up in the back of our small crowd alone. i calmly took his hand and looked up at him as we continued to walk,

"to finish what was inturrupted" i said.

i noticed a small pink tint form on karl's cheeks, "yeah.." he rubbed my thumb with his, "i'm really sorry about him... he has this obsession with being my wingman but i don't actually think he knows what that is.."

i couldn't help but laugh at that pitiful excuse of a wingman...

wait wingman??
why would karl need a wingman??

"why would you need a wingman? we're already close" i asked him genuinely, "i dont know..." he looked off to the side, "its stupid... but i just wanted to... you know, be able to call you mine..." he lowered his voice towards the end.

pick me- stfu stfu

"you can call me whatever you want karl..." i responded, this grabbed his attention really well, "really?? uh-i mean you'll be my girlfriend..." he asked nervously, (pick me behavior ik im sorry) "yes karl! of course i will" i smiled brightly at him.
