karl parked at the airport's pick up section waiting for his friend to immerse from the crowd. this friend insisted on not telling anyone that he'd be visiting and staying with karl until he arrived. the grey eyed boy complied to these rules, not quite understanding why but not questioning it. he probably just wanted to be mysterious, that thought made him laugh.

he spotted his blonde haired friend among the small crowd by the door and called to him. he watched as he walked towards him with his suitcase in hand, "hey nick" karl smiled cheerfully as he took the bag from him and placed it neatly in the trunk of his car, sapnap returned his smile.

they both silently made their way to the front seats of the car, both tired because of the fact it had been around 1 am. sapnap yawned,

"i told u to get an earlier flight" karl scolded,

"there wasn't any that weren't overpriced as hell" he responded drowsily, "anyways," he changed the subject, "whats been going on with you? ...besides almost getting canceled of course" he joked as karl began to drive.

the fluffy haired boy thought before speaking, "well y/n and i made up and we... we kinda kissed a few times. we decided not to put labels on each other for now but i really want to be able to call her my girlfriend... you know, make it official..."

"so you like her, like alot. " nick retorted, karl hummed quietly in response, keeping his eyes on the road.

"well then karl i have an idea. i'm gonna be your wingman!" he smirked cockily,

"my wingman-" he laughed,

"yeah i mean i'm a ladies man! i'll help you dude!"

the two arrived to karl's house quicker than expected, they had spent the entire duration of the car ride discussing their plan.

karl took out his phone and went on our group chat as soon as he finished helping sapnap get set up in the spare room in his house. he thought for a second before doing anything, it being quite late. he quickly remembered that absolutely no one in our group chat had a good sleep schedule and proceeded with his actions.
