Jesse's POV

"Just put it on my Desk Wes," I say, typing away on my laptop. He came in and walked over to my desk, putting an envelope on my desk. I looked up at him, "Wes, what is this?" I say grabbing the envelope.

It was from an unknown place, yet it was mailed here. I opened it, taking the paper out.

"I don't know, it just got here." he said.

'Mason where's Meleena?' I questioned.

'She's at home sleeping, Alpha Jesse.' Mason replied.

'Come to my office, now.' I ordered.

'Yes Alpha.'

I began reading the letter.

It doesn't matter where this is from, so don't worry about it. I want your precious Luna. She will be mine one way or another. Watch your back at the war tomorrow.

I reread the words carefully, over and over again. Making sure I read it correctly.

"What does it say?" Mason asked walking in.

I growled crumbling the paper, ripping it to shreeds.

"Someone wants Meleena." I growled through gritted teeth.

Wes and Mason growled almost at the same tone. "Who do you think it's from Alpha?" Wes asks.

"The Imperial pack." I say. "Everyone is to be killed tomorrow, except the Alpha. Am I understood?" I snarled.

"Understood." they said in unison.

"Dismissed." I say. They both turned around, walking out of my office while closing the door.

I ran my hands through my hair, frustrated already. I knew for sure that it was the Imperial pack who wanted Meleena. My wolf was angry, he wanted to run over to the Imperial pack right now and kill the Alpha. I did too. I wanted it all to just be over and done with.

Knowing that someone was out to get my mate, I needed her to be safe where no one but I would find her.

'Paris, you're not fighting tomorrow you'll be with Meleena. Come to my office we need to have a discussion.' I ordered.

Two minutes past before I heard a knock on my office door.

"Enter." I say.

Paris walked in with her panda pajamas on and bunny slippers. Her hair was in a sloppy ponytail and she looked as if she just woke up.

"Sorry to wake you but this is important." I pointed to the seat in the couch in the corner. "Make yourself comfortable."

"Why am I not fighting tomorrow?" Paris's high annoying voice rang through my ears. She put her feet up on the couch and glared at me.

"You weren't going to in the first place. Before I say anything I need you not to tell anyone about this conversation."

"Alpha Jesse, not to be rude but I think I have a right to tell anyone what ever I want."

"This is serious Paris!" I growled.

"Okay, Okay. I won't say anything." Paris said.

"Someone is out to get Meleena, and I need you to stay with her during the war tomorrow." I told her.

"Who is it?" Paris sat up.

"That's my business, not yours. You both will be hidden in a cabin safely. I'll handle everything. You will guard Meleena without her knowing."
