Meleena's POV
"Slut." I growled murderously. Judy glared at me with a frown. She wanted to say something but instead she just kept walking. I was furious.
He told me he was done messing with other girls, my dad was right. Jesse was a player. I deserve to be grounded.
"Meleena it's not what you think, I didn't know she was here." Jesse said walking behind me. He grabbed my hand, I snatched my hand away from him.
"Just leave me alone." I frowned, tears were already building up in my eyes. I walked away from him and went downstairs to the lounge.
'John, do you mind coming to pick me up?' I asked over the mind link.
'What's wrong and where?' he answered.
'The pack house.' I answered half of the question.
I walked outside and got my bag out of his car. John's car swooped down the street. I got in the passenger seat and put my bag in my lap. "Home?" John asked.
"Yes." I nodded.
"Mel, what's wrong?" John asked frowning.
"Nothing, it doesn't even matter." I cried silently staring out the window.
He just kept quiet as he drove home.
When we got there, dad's truck was in the driveway.
I already knew what I was in for.
I silently got out of the car and grabbed my bag. We walked into the house, dad was making coffee.
"Meleena sit down," he ordered.
My wolf didn't want to hear what he had to say, and neither did I. But I sat down anyways.
"I specifically told you to stay in this house, and you disobeyed my orders-" I cut him off.
"Dad this speech you're about to give me, doesn't mean anything to me at all. You're right, he's a player and I should stay away from him, so I am." I said getting up from the chair I was in. "Happy now?" my voice was shaking.
"Meleena, I didn't mean to upset you." dad frowned.
"You didn't."
"I'm not happy Mel, did something happen?" he asked.
"It doesn't matter," I whispered going upstairs to my room. I opened the door and locked it as I walked inside. I put on my pajamas and curled up in my bed.
Tears strolled down my red cheeks, I was cold in my bed alone. It felt like a chunk of my heart was gone.
I knew that he didn't know Judy was in his office, I understood that much. But what I didn't get was why he didn't tell all of his whore's that he was mated?
He was mine! Only mine! Nobody else's!
What's gotten into me? I hope this mate thing doesn't effect my grades. I have a test tomorrow and it's worth 70% of my grade.
I've gotta study.
I was way too tired to study though. Mother nature must be approaching soon.
The life of being a woman.
I rolled my eyes shut. I fell asleep without a care in the world. I felt Jesse's frustration. He was angry, frustrated, and sad.
So was I.
~
I woke up the next morning and found myself wanting to stay home. I wanted to be in my room, watching, The Vampire Diaries.
