Jesse's POV

"What are you doing here?" I growled. "On my territory."

"I heard you guys just won a war, thought I'd stop by and congratulate you." he said, smiling.

"You weren't there when Angela was born so why are you here now? Your daughters birth should be more important than a war."

"Look, I'm trying to be nice here so-"

"Nice? Come on, let's scroll down memory lane. Remember that time I was was announced Alpha of The Blood Hound Pack? You patted me on my back and I never saw you again. Or that time Angela had a Daddy Daughter Dance and you promised you would show up, yet never did so I had to go. Now all of a sudden I win a war and you want to show up?!" I snapped.

"Son, I don't want to keep doing this. I want to make things right."
I looked at him, debating on if I should let him have another chance. My wolf said no, I said no, but my heart said I should do it.

I growled in frustration. "Fine. You've got one more shot at being the Dad Angela has always wanted. Don't screw it up."

"Where's your mom?" he asked.

"Don't know," I walked away. I heard his footsteps go the opposite direction from me.

Slowly, I opened my door, taking in the sweet smell of Meleena's body. It seemed very strong. I walked completely, closing the door behind me. I was still shirtless, wearing blue jean shorts and shoes. "Ugh! You smell horrible!" I heard Meleena.

I rolled my eyes but chuckled. "Thank you." I said walking into the bathroom. She laid on my bed, smiling at me.

I smiled back at her before! turning the shower on. I slipped off my pants, then boxers and threw my shoes out. "I just cleaned up!" Meleena growled.

"Sorry." I laughed stepping into the shower.

She began mumbling about me being lazy.

Meleena was everything to me. She was literally everything. After everything that's happened today, I'm just so grateful to come home to her.

I wanted to introduce her to the pack today, but everything didn't go as planned. I'm going to have to reschedule. I smirked, and decided to ask everyone.

'When do you guys want to meet your Luna?' I asked everyone in the pack. Not including Meleena of course.

'Now!' Half of them screamed.

'Tomorrow maybe? I have a job interview.' I heard Alex Stone.

'Tomorrow morning!' some people yelled.

I liked that, tomorrow morning.

'Silence!' I ordered. Everyone got quiet instantly. 'You all will meet her, tomorrow morning.'

They cheered with happiness. I smirked to myself, before turning off the water and stepping out of the shower. There was still soap on my body that I forgot to rinse off. I dried myself off with my towel and wrapped it around my waist.

Before I brushed my teeth, I stared at myself in the mirror, flexing.

"Stop, show off." Meleena laughed.

"Oh you know you love it." I teased.

"Yes I do. But-"

"I don't like the word but." I frowned.

"But your muscles don't matter right now. How was the war?" Meleena questioned as I began brushing my teeth.

"Complicated." I muffled.
