while Ash and the rest of his friends were battling at the coast of the beach. Professor Kukui decided to go shopping for some food and gifts.

Kukui sighed, since he thinks he bought too much, but if its for Ash and the others, he wouldnt mind, just kinda wished he had someone to help him. (Hello?? Did you forgot about your pokemon professor?? Dont tell me you're Ranboo 2.0- 🤠🔫)

While he was busy thinking of some stuff, he accidentally bumped into someone and dropped the items. "Oh my- im terribly sorry for that" Kukui apologized and tried ti grab all the items. "Its fine, really, you dont even need to apologize, its just a stupid accident" The brunette told Kukui while he nervously chuckled.

"Do you need me to help you? Looks heavy" the brunette boy said, it sounds like he asked but he actually didnt. "There's no need for help" Kukui tried to reassure of things. "It's fine, i insist on it" and of course, Kukui can't win.

They are now currently walking back to Kukui's home.

"Whats your name?" Kukui asked. "Mm? Its Gary, Gary Oak" He replied, Kukui blinked at his words. "As in the oak? Like Professor Oak?" Gary nodded, "Yeah, basically im his grandson, and he's my grandfather"

Kukui chuckled, "Well i didnt expect that, well then, my name's Kukui, Professor Kukui"

"I see.." Gary mumbled. "Well since youre Oak's grandson, i have a feeling you know a lot about pokemon?" Kukui asked Gary. "Yeah, i mean of course, im planning to become a Pokemon Professor/Researcher" Gary smirked, Kukui smiled. "Say, do you wanna study at the Pokemon School? I teach there"

"Oh really? What type of students do you teach?"

"Hmm, i'd say half of them are calm, while the other half is chaotic, but they all still care for each other"

"Well that's cool i guess, who are your students?"

"Well they are Lana, Mallow, Lillie, Kiawe, Sophocles-" It didnt actually matter to him about the students until the Professor mentioned his adopted son. "-And my adopted son, Ash. He's from Pallet town in the Kanto region, same as you i think"

It didnt really interest Gary to study in the Pokemon School, but the name, Ash just made him want to.

"Why not?" Gary smirked

"Huh?" Kukui got a bit confused

"I mean why not, i dont mind to study a bit more, there's still some things i dont know here in the Alola region" Kukui grinned, "thats great, today is the weekend so tomorrow is the day you can introduce yourself to the class" Gary nodded.

"I've arrived now, i'll see you tomorrow Gary"

"I'll see you aswell Professor Kukui"

Gary's PoV (finally i did someone's PoV-)

'I didnt think Ashy-boy would be in the Alola region' he smirked, 'can't wait for the fun tomorrow' he walked back to his hotel. (I wonder what type of fun 😳😳 NO IM JUST KIDDING- AH MY BRAIN-)

Time ship to Gary arriving at his Hotel room

"Hey there Umbreon" He smiled at his own pokemon that was waiting for him, "sorry i took too long"

"Umbre Umbre Umbreon!" I can tell they forgave me because they licked my cheeks as usual.

"Lets get ready for tomorrow Umbreon, we have a big day ahead of us" Umbreon tilted their head, signaling as to why. I chuckled

"Lets just say, Ashy-boy will be there" i smirked.
