Ethan held the flask containing Rose's head close to his chest as they made their way to the factory, Alexander once again guiding him.
He didn't talk to Alexander, knowing that Alexander was currently truly processing what happened with his mother and sisters.
It took a few more minutes before Alexander and Ethan arrived at the factory, noticing that it was unusually quiet in the factory.
Alexander told Ethan to stay put in the room where they explained the whole situation while he went to find Karl.
Checking the work shop, it was empty, so Alexander went to the the next place. The bedroom that Karl and Alexander had shared, and as suspected Karl was snoring away on the bed.
A chuckle escaped Alexander as he looked at the sprawled out man. Walking forward, Alexander gently reached out to wake Karl, only to be yanked onto the bed by the man.
"What the hell, Karl?!" Alexander rasped out, a little shocked at the sudden movement.
"Shut up, just be still for a moment" Karl grumbled as he shoved his face against Alexanders neck, his beard sratching Alexanders soft skin and irritating it.
"Karl, we have places to be, the sooner we finish getting those flasks-"."Just... Stay with me for a little" Alexander glanced at the top of Karls head, deciding not to move.
"Fine, but we need to get up soon" Alexander grumbled. It was silent and Alexander nearly thought Karl had fallen asleep, if it wasn't for the fact that the man had just sunken his teeth into his neck.
"Karl?!" Within mere seconds Alexander had shoved Karl off of him and Karl was on his back on the floor.
Blood was dripping down Alexanders neck and gliding down Karls chin, the indents of Karls teeth were beyond clear to see in the soft skin.
Getting off the bed, Alexander walked into the bathroom to inspect his neck and Karl of course was directly on his heels.
Looking in the mirror Alexander gingerly poked the bite mark, Karl was grinning at him and recieved a glare in return. Alexander turned to Karl, who was still grinning with a smug gleam in his eyes.
"Any reason for this?"
"You're still mine"
Alexander stared silently at Karl before leaving the bathroom and going back to Ethan, who was impatiently taping his foot.
"Final- What happened to your neck?" Ethan cut himself off as he looked at the blood still flowing from Alexanders neck, Karl was behind Alexander with a smirk on his face.
"It doesn't matter, you two are going to stay here and work on that stupid army while I go to Donna and Angie"
"Shouldn't I go with you?" Ethan asked, clearly confused with what was going on.
"Don't" With that Alexander seemingly vanished into thin air.
Ethan turned to Karl, who simply shrugged and sat down. A frown appeared on Ethans face as Karl simply grabbed a bottle of beer and started drinking.
"Shouldn't you be going with him? Aren't you guys in a relationship?"
"It's better to leave him be, he can deal with Angie and Donna by himself, they trust him more than me" Karl replied and took a sip of beer.
Blinking, Ethan was baffled by the answer he was given and stammered to get the right words out of his mouth.
"I thought we all agreed to help each other, now either you go after him or I'll go!"
Karl sighed and looked at him, were normal people always this... Overreactive.
"You wouldn't know where to go, besides Alexander is strong, stronger than you at least" If Ethans jaw was able to hit the floor, it would've.
"Tell me, are you fully in control of all the Lycans and whatever other things crawl around here? Tell me, if Alexander gets caught of guard and sustaines fatal injuries, won't you regret not being there with him?!"
Everything went still for a moment, until Karl let out a huff and placed his bottle down, grabbed his coat and stormed out of the factory yelling at Ethan.
"You better be exactly there when we get back Winters!"
"Well did not know what to expect, but it wasn't that" Ethan muttered to himself as he heard the metal doors creaking as they were slammed shut.
Walking over the narrow and overgrown paths, Alexander paid no mind to the creepy dolls hanging from the trees or their parts being scattered around, nor did he to the amount of gravestones.
The suspension bridge, something he hated the most in the entirety of this village. The way the wood creaked beneath his feet made him shiver.
"C'mon Alexander! It's just a few more steps!" Looking up to the ledge where Alexander was headed, the faded figure of Karl stood and was reaching out.
Blinking a few times the figure disappeared and Alexander was left by himself. Taking a few more steps Alexander finally found himself on solid ground.
'Must be the plants, although I don't see the reason for giving me hallucinations'
Karl was huffing a little, stopping in his tracks for a moment and lighting another cigar. He was now on Donna's turf, he could tell from the amount of dolls.
"Karl?" Looking around after hearing Alexanders voice, Karl noted that there wasn't a single living thing around him.
"Great, now I'm starting to hear things"
Putting the cigar between his lips and took a puff, sighed and continued to walk.
Alexander had in the meanwhile made it to the house and politely knocked on the door. After a while of waiting, the door had opened on it's own.
"Donna? Angie?" Knowing that Donna and Angie were rather uncomfortable with loud noises and didn't like unexpected visits.
The atomosphere at the house was different than his pervious visits. It was unpleasant and made Alexander nervous and ill.
"Donna?" Alexander felt as if the walls were closing in on him and everything became almost suffocating.
"Alex! Follow me!" Looking around wildly, Alexander desperately tried to find the voice, which made it seem as if Karl was there with him.
Blindly walking forward, Alexanders unknowingly walked right into the illusion that Donna and Angie made just for the two men.
While Alexander was being led around the house by the illusion, Karl was running around trying to find Alexander. Something in his bones was telling him that Alexander was either hurt or in danger.
After a while, Karl also got to the large house. The sound of the waterfall was deafening in his ears.
Karl didn't knock on the door, instead he walked in like he owned the place. Donna's illusions got to work and started guiding Karl to Alexander, but a different route.
"Karl! Karl!"
A cabinet fell apart due to Karl accidently ripping out the nails, the sound of Alexander calling for him in a voice that was pained and of a person that needed help made him both anxious and mad.
Storming forward, Karl didn't hesitate to nearly rip the hinges off of the doors in order to find Alexander.
Heavy breathing could be heard around the halls as Alexander had wrapped his arms around waist and took tiny steps forward.
Sweat made his skin shine as he nervously rounded each corner, desperate to find Karl, except Karl was never there.
Rounding another corner, Alexanders heavy breathing came to a halt and tears filled Alexanders eyes.
