Back to Regular POV
You fell asleep in the corner of the cell. But soenthing woke you up. You open you eyes to see Tranquil slamming the iron bars of your cell.
"Grr. If only I can get that stupid kid-" He stopped when he saw you were awake.
You glaredat him. Tranquil scoffed. "You can get mad at me all you want. But you're trapped in there. There's nothing you can do." He said.
Thats when something came to mind. You looked at Tranquil and concentrated. Tranquil was confused.
"What are you... GAH!" He was interrupted as his foot turned into stone.
"Wh-What was that? How did you even-" But he stopped as he tried to shake off the stone on his foot.
Soon, someone entered the prison. "What in Inamorta is going on here?" You look to see V standing there.
"That kid is a demon!" Tranquil screamed. V looked confused. "Wait, didn't I tell you not to go here..." He said.
"Thats not the point!" Tranquil replied. "That kid petrified my foot!" V looked in shock at Tranquil's foot. He looked at you.
"You did this?" He asked. You nodded. V sighed. "Tranquil, leave. I'll get someone to help with your foot.
Tranquil muttered something as he left. V watched him leave. After that, he walked towards your cell.
"So, do you like it here?" He asked. "Um, you threw me in a prison cell and a crazy Air Elemental kept insulting me. Do you think I like it here?" You snarled.
V calmly nodded. He got a chair and sat right outside the cell. "Well, how did Chaos treat you?" He asked again.
"They treated me better than you." You replied. "They didn't throw you in a cell?" V questioned. You shook your head.
"Only in the beginning." You replied. V still looked calm, as if he's done this before.
"Would you rather stay here, or with Chaos?" He asked. "Definitely Chaos." You said.
V sighed. "Alright, final question." He told you. "How did you learn to petrify?"
You look away. You didn't answer. "Answer me, kid." V said and he sounded serious.
But you shook your head. "Its a secret." You told him. Now, you could see V was mad. Then, something made a sound.
You watched in shock as you saw lightning strike beside him. You look at V in fear.
"Im not the leader of the Elementals for nothing." He glared at you. "Remember that it was out of my kindness that you are still alive."
"Otherwise, I would have disposed of you already." He looked at you and calmed down. "So answer me. How did you learn to petrify?"
You gave up. "Medusa." You whispered. "Who?" V asked. You spoke too softly. "Medusa taught me." You replied.
V flinched when you said that. "Well, you'll never see her again." He said as he stood up and walked away.
You sighed as you thought about Medusa. "I wonder where she is now." You thought. "Probably forgot about me already."
But then you heard a loud crash. As if an explosion happened or something. You looked out of you cell. "Whats going on out there?" You asked yourself.
Medusa POV
"I SAID AT THE WALLS! NOT THE DOOR!" I yelled at the Magikill. "Oi, its not my fault for not getting target practice." Alchemy answered back.
"Guys. This is not the time." Lila said. Then we heard voices. We hid behind something. "Great! How do we get inside now?" I asked.
Chariot looked at the Charrogs and Cycloids who went to investigate. "I have an idea." He said. "Lets all attack now!"
"What kind of a ridiculous plan is that?" I asked but everyone already charged. I sighed as I followed along.
We managed to take out all but one Charrog. He made a run for the castle. "Lets find (YN) and get her out." Chariot told us.
We all went inside the castle. "Why is it covered in vines?" Lila asked. "Thats how Elementals like it." Marrowkai replied.
Just then, lightning struck in front of us. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the Queen of Chaos." I turn to see V floating behind us.
Lila immediately tried to shoot him. But he evaded easily. "(YN) is staying here." He said.
Then, more Elementals appeared. I look at my team. "Chariot. Go rescue (YN). We'll stay here and fight these fools." I commanded.
Chariot nodded and ran off to find the prison.
Back to Regular POV
You were still wondering who made the noise. Or maybe something just fell like a tree.
Then you heard a slam. A Charrog guarding the prison fell down as the door opened.
A Spearton with a familiar helmet and cape came in and took down the guards. He then went immediately to your cell.
"(YN), Im here to rescue you." The Spearton said. "Chariot?" You asked. He nodded.
"Wait, how can you talk and stand like that?" You questioned. "Long story." Chariot smiled. But you noticed something move behind him. You gasped.
"Chariot, watch out!" You told him. Chariot turned around and moved away. Tranquil stood there, angry.
"DIE!" He shouted as he charged towards Chariot. Chariot got his shield ready.
Tranquil started by striking lightning in different directions. Chariot swiftly dodged all of them.
He then threw his spear at Tranquil. But he missed and Tranquil just laughed.
It was an exchange of hits. Soon, both were exhausted. But Chariot shouted, "For (YN)!" Chariot threw his spear again.
This time, it was a perfect head shot! Tranquil screamed as he fell on the floor. Chariot opened your cell. You hugged him.
"I miss you so much!" You smiled. Chariot hughed back. "I miss you too." He said. But then you look at Tranquil.
He said his last words. "Finally Coal, I can be with you again!" He said as he quietly accepted death.
It was quite sad. But Tranquil seemed to be happy. "Lets go. The others are waiting." Chariot told you as he held your hand and walked out of the prison.
"The others? They're here?" You asked. "Yea." Chariot replied. "Even Medusa?" You questioned. Chariot nodded.
"Now we need to help them and get outta here." He said as both of you made your way outside the prison.
But when you went to the place where everyone was supposed to be, you saw Alchemy, Lila, and Marrowkai on the floor.
"What happened here?" You asked. Chariot went to Marrowkai who was struggling to get up.
"V was too strong." He said. "Where's Medusa?" Chariot asked. "She went to face him alone." Marrowkai replied.
You look outside and saw what was going on. V and Medusa were fighting on the roof of the castle.
"Im going to help her!" You said as you ran in their direction. "NO!" Chariot grabbed your hand. "Its too dangerous!"
"I need to help her!" You look at Chariot. "Please." He looked at you in surprise. But he sighed and let go of you.
"Fine. Just promise me you'll be safe." He said. You nodded. "I will." You told him as you run off.
"(YN) is really something." Chariot thought.
