Chapter 5 - False Accusation

You yawned and stretched as you woke up. You stood up and got off Alchemy's lap. You walked to the iron bars.

The Juggerknights weren't there. You looked around the prison. Your eyes moved to Chariot's cell.

He was there. But he looked like he was in a bad condition. He was asleep but kept kicking time to time.

Chariot had scars and cuts on him. He had multiple scratch and bite marks too. You felt sad for him. Even if he is no longer a proper Spearton.

You leaned against the bars. Suddenly, you felt it swing open, causing you to crash on the floor. Thankfully, it didn't make a sound.

You saw the other prisoners. All were still asleep. 2 thoughts came into your mind. First, you could try to escape.

Second, you could satsify your curiousity and explore the prison. You went with that and stood up. You looked around and quietly walked from cell to cell.

You stopped at Chariot's cell. You wanted to just leave him alone, but some feeling inside you said otherwise.

You crouched and looked through the bars of his cell. Chariot was sleeping close to the iron bars so he was within your reach.

Without thinking, you slowly moved your hand closer to the sleeping Spearton. You thought that he wouldn't feel your touch since he was asleep.

But when your hand touched his helmet, Chariot's eyes shot open. You didn't even have enough time to process what was going on when he got up and tried to bite you.

You made a small gasp as you took your hand away. You quietly ran back to your cell and closed the door.

You could here growls and snarls coming from Chariot. It woke up a lot of the prisoners. You went near Alchemy, hoping that no one would know what you did.

Soon, a Juggerknight came running to the prison. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM NOW, YOU FREAK!?" He shouted at Chariot.

Chariot growled and backed away. The Juggeeknight glared at him. "I thought the fight yesterday would teach you a lesson." He said. "Seems not."

Chariot looked to the Juggerknight to your cell. "What are you staring at?" The Juggerknight questioned.

He followed Chariot's gaze to your cell. "Oh, so someone woke you up." He chuckled darkly.

You were scared so you leaned against Alchemy's shoulder and pretended to sleep. You could here the Juggerknight drawing closer.

Once he made it to your cell, you clutched one of Alchemy's arms. You hoped that the Juggerknight would just walk away.

But he touched the iron bars and chuckled. It made a creaking sound as he slowly opened it. "So one of you did wake him up." He said.

The Juggerknight walked inside your cell. You were now extremely terrified. What if he found out it was you?

Would he starve you and turn you into something like Chariot? Or would he tell Marrowkai and you would end up turning into a Dead?

The Juggerknight looked at Alchemy. He kicked the Magikill a few times then stopped. He looked at you and smirked.

At first he didn't do anything. But then you felt him grab your hair. You screamed as the Juggerknight brought you closer to his face.

Your scream woke up Alchemy. He was terrified at what he saw. But he was too scared to do anything about it.

"So you broke out of your cell and woke up the Spearton freak?" The Juggerknight asked you.

He waited for a reply so you decided to answer as honestly as you could. "The door was open when I woke up. I wanted to explore the prison so I walked out. Then I went to touch Chariot but he woke up when I did." You explained.

The Juggerknight growled. "Liar! You broke out and woke up Chariot just to disturb me!" He yelled at you. You shook your head.

"No its true!" You tried to say. "Ask Chariot. Thats what really happened!" The Juggerknight glanced at Chariot who was now pacing around his cell.

He turned his gaze back to you. "Do you really think I would believe a word he says?" He said to you. "He can't even speak!"

The Juggerknight grabbed you by your arm and started dragging you away. You squirm in fear because you knew where he would take you.

But the Juggerknight glared at you and took his axe. He put it close to your face. "One more move and I will feed your flesh to Chariot." He said darkly.

That was enough to make you stop moving. You were dragged away like before. You glance at Alchemy. He mouthed a 'sorry' as he turned and went back to the edge of the cell.

You also glance at Chariot before you get dragged out of the prison. Chariot was looking at you from the iron bars. You heard a quiet whimper coming from him. You wondered why.

The Juggerknight took you to the throne room. You looked away from the throne, knowing exactly who was sitting there.

"What do you want this time?" Medusa asked. The Juggerknight pushed you in front of Medusa. He was strong so he caused you to loose balance and fall on the floor.

You looked up at Medusa. She looked at you questioningly. She then looks at the Juggerknight. "Why do you bring this child here?" She asked.

The Juggerknight scoffed. "Well, if you didn't know, he/she broke out of his/her cell." He said angrily. "Not only that. He/she woke up Chariot just to annoy me!"

Medusa looked at you. "Is this true?" She asked. You shook your head. "The cell door was open when I woke up." You replied.

"AHA! But you did wake up that stupid Spearton!" The Juggerknight snarled at you. You shook your head again. "I only went out because I wanted to check the place out." You said.

Medusa just watched the argument. She was finding it entertaining. "Well, you woke up Chariot! Thats true!" The Juggerknight pointed out.

"I only touched him!" You cried. "Enough." Medusa stopped both of you. You both looked at her. You smile. Hopefully she believes you.

"Go and leave us. I'll deal with this brat myself." Medusa commanded. You frown. She dosen't believe you. You're a goner.

The Juggerknight laughed and ran away. You shakingly turned your head to look at Medusa. Fear engulfed your body.

Medusa sighed. "Seems like I'll need to teach you again." She said as she stood up. "Follow me." She commanded. You obeyed to try to avoid any other consequences.

You were led to a room, but you were already really scared about what might happen.
