(Dream)

The streaming has been hard for Dream.

It's taken up almost all of his free time. Back before all of this, he and George would skate together every day. Now, they barely skate together. The last time they skated was a week ago.

Not seeing George is painful.

George gave Dream life, love, and kept him going.

Without him, he feels empty.

Growing up, Dream always had George but now without him, he doesn't know what to do.

It's not like George is gone but it feels like he is.

Dream had to do something about it.

He picked up his phone and called George.

"Hey, Gogy" Dream greeted. But, he noticed something. It was loud. And not just like 'I can still hear you but it's noisy' loud, it was LOUD.
The noise faded away with the sound of a door closing.

"Hello? Dream?"
"Yeah, I'm here. Where are you?"
"I... uh... what do you mean?" George asked clearly knowing what Dream meant.
"I mean where are you? You never leave the house"

George cleared his throat.

"I'm- well- I'm at the bar" George hesitated
"YOU'RE WHERE?!" Dream unexpectedly yelled
"Dream what the hell's your problem?!" George yelled back
"I'm sorry that- that was unexpected. But WHY ARE YOU AT THE BAR????"

There was hesitation before an answer.

"I- I guess I feel like..." George paused "I don't know. Can we talk about this later?"
"I- yea I guess. Do you need me to pick you up? Are you gonna drink? Can you just- please call me and tell me so I can pick you up."
"Ok thanks Dream. I got to go"
"O-" A familiar ring signaled that George hung up leaving Dream in the silence.

A silence he remembered from his childhood.

"cLaY!!!!" His drunk father yelled "YOU better ShOw YOUR DUMB little ASS tHis MOment!!!"

Dream sat in the corner of his room with a blanket over his head. The door was locked but that never seemed to stop him.

"CLAY open tHis DOOR!"
Dream pulled his legs to his chest and quietly cried in fear. He knew what was gonna happen.

There was a bang on the door.

"CLAY!!!!"

Then another.

"YOU USELESS CHILD!"

And one last bang sent the door flying.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!!!"

Dream covered his mouth to silence the loud sobs full of fear.

"I CAN HEAR YOU CRYING YOU MISTAKE!" Dreams dad yelled ungracefully wobbling over to Dream.

The blanket went flying off and a hit immediately flew across Dream's face.

"STOP PLEASE" Dream cried
"HOPEFULLY THIS WILL TEACH YOU!!" His dad yelled while throwing a punch into Dream's stomach.

"YOU STUPID!" Dreams dad started grabbing Dreams hair.

"USELESS!" he yelled pulling Dreams head up.

"CHILD!!!!!" he screamed kicking Dreams chest throwing him backward.

He walked away leaving Dream sit there with blood covering his achy body.

Then, a silence filled the room.

A lonely, loud silence.

But that silence was always filled with a painful, muffled scream.

A scream caused by a small blade.

Dream gasped clinging onto his stomach snapping out of the memory.

It was all so real.

They always were.

The memory replays were always like the actual thing.

And they were haunting.

(George)

He walked out of the bathroom after hanging up on Dream.

The bar was packed.

He didn't plan on drinking though. He wanted to find a girl.

Not one to be with for life, but one to convince all the dnfers that he's not gay.

But which one should he pick.

A girl with long, dark brown hair stood with all her other friends. They were all wearing very skin exposing clothes but it'll work for now.

He walked over to them.

The one girl was chugging her drink of straight tequila.

Gross.

"Hello" George said to the one girl.
"Hey hottieeeeeee" the girl squealed "So here's my number. We're a thing now FYI"
"W-" George tried but the girl shoved a piece of paper in his mouth.

George took the paper out and looked at the number.

"DRINKS ON HIM GIRLSSSSS" She yelled. The others all cheered. They walked away and one of the friends kissed George's cheek.

Then they were gone.

"What the fuck" George said out loud. He looked up at the bartender.
"Wow. What was that?" The bartender asked
"I-I don't-" George could not believe what just happened.
"You may need to pay for the $300 worth of drinks for them but have a few on me"

George wasn't a drinker but he needed to clear his head.

"Thanks man" George sighed sitting down and ordering a drink.
"Why did you just go up to them?" The bartender asked.
"I don't know." George said resting his head on his hand.
"With the ladies, they go up to you. Just a note for the future so that doesn't happen again. Florida people can be like that."

George sighed.

"Why are you looking for a lady so quickly? Trying to make someone jealous?"
"No- no I was- I- im a streamer and people think me and my guy best friend are together. I'm kinda getting sick of it so I wanted to prove I'm not- gay"
"Are you getting sick of it or trying to avoid the truth?" The guy asked while drying a cup.

George looked up at him before looking down again. He gave the guy his card so he could pay.

"I think I'm trying to avoid the truth."
"I understand." The bartender said giving George his card back.

George smiled before turning around to head out.

But...

"GAH- DREAM?!" George yelled getting startled by the tall man.

"Hey- um you-

what truth?"
