You've never liked thunderstorms. Ever since you were a kid, the sound of the roaring thunder outside your bedroom window scares you half to death. You've never told anyone though because you find it a rather embarrassing thing to talk about. The only people who knew about it were your parents.

You laid in bed that night, the rain hitting your window and the loud wind mixing with the thunder, lightning flashing every so often. You sat in your bed, the covers up to you neck, fully awake and shaking. A huge lightning strike causes you to almost jump out of your skin and you sit there panicking.

You look over at the clock, 2:13am. You've been lying awake for just over three hours and couldn't take it anymore. All your roommates were already asleep so you decided to go to the one person you knew you could wake up. You slide out of bed, still in your pj's and grabbed an oversized grey hoodie. You put it on along with some fluffy white socks and make your way out the door.

You could still here the thunder as you walk down the marble stairs of the Gryffindor Tower so you put your hood up, hugging yourself. You made your way up to the boys dorms as fast as you could, hoping not to make any noticeable sounds.

You open the first door on your left and sneak in. It was Harry Potters dormitory. Everyone in his room was asleep, including him. However, he tends to be a light sleeper so he'd either already be awake because of the storm or you could wake him easily. You slowly tip toe your way over to the bed and see that he's fast asleep.

"Harry," you whispered and he groans in response, opening his eyes a little. Just in that moment a huge thunder noise erupts outside his bedroom window almost scaring you to death. Harry notices and sees you shaking. He looks at you with sad eyes before lifting the covers up, motioning for you to get in with him. You climb in next to him, the warm covers suffocating you, and he wraps his strong arms around you. He smelt so good. You cuddle up to him and burry your head in his chest. He kisses the top of your head for a few seconds and rubs your back slowly. He held you tightly, stroking your back and hair comfortingly.

Every so often when the thunder got louder or the lightning strikes got closer he held on to you tighter. When you jumped from the loud noises outside, he would stroke your hair and kiss your temple.

"Shh, it's okay," he whispered in your ear, "I've got you, your okay." Being held in his strong arms made you feel safe. He made sure to stay awake until you fell asleep and gazed down at you lovingly when he woke up and realised you were still there, still cuddled up to him as if his body was the only thing keeping you alive...
