Chapter Fifteen

Adrian, my childhood best friend and lover is on his knees in his expensive suit with a velvet box containing an enormous most shiniest diamond ring with a tiny other diamonds as a border around the main diamond.

Tears rushed down my eyes as I stared at the man who I have love for years but wasn't mine until recently.

"Will you give me the greatest belated  birthday present and marry me?"

I nod and whispered, "Yes".

I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a kiss that left both of us grinning like idiots with ridiculously huge smiles.

My father came over while Adrian slides on the ring on my finger.

"Cheers," He shouted, giving both Adrian and I, a glass of red wine.

Adrian and I made love until we can't anymore and fell asleep holding each other tightly.

The next morning, I found Adrian missing from the bed.

I went to shower but my phone dinged.

"Hi, its mom"

I suggested during breakfast.

My father and Adrian looked at each other then replied simultaneously, "Sure."
