I drove through the traffic, parked at the car park and rushed inside.
Spotting my mother, she began, "He's been repeating your name for the past 30 minutes. Why is that?"
"Later."

Michele looked even worst but there a brightness that wasn't there and a little smile on his face.
"Michele."
"Katryn, I am leaving this world and you. Finally right?" he chuckled.
I stared at him.
"I know it's your wedding night but I couldn't live a day longer. The last thing I wanted to see before I go is your face."
He said weakly.
"In the next life if I am lucky enough to meet you again pick me instead, choose me, love me. If I have to deal with this pain again in my next life, I will try my hardest to make God change his mind." He laughs.
I stand there frozen and heartbroken.
"You were my first and only love. Probably the love of my life too. But what I feel for you I never felt before and that day you left you took a piece of me with you unknowingly. I will protect you and love you from above."
His eyes began to close and his heart beat began to slow.
I held onto his cold hand, his fingers curve around my hand and I said to him, "If I am capable to love again in the next century perhaps, I would love you."
His fingers let go and the beeping of his heart rate machine as it flatlined filled my ears.
I began pumping his chest tears flowed out of my eyes as nurses and doctors entered and room pushed me outside and electrify him but he's already gone.
Someone called the time of death.
Then a nurse covered Michele's face with the white cloth.
