Hi Percashippers! So as you can tell this is a one-shot based on exactly that. Percy's telling the story of how he met Annabeth to his 6 yr old daughter Silena and 17 yr old son Luke. Luke looks like Annabeth with Percy sea-green eyes, he has ADHD but he's really smart. Silena looks like Percy with Beth's grey eyes and has Dyslexia. This is not the last you will see of their children. Enjoy!

Percy was having a hard time being a father.

It was the middle of Summer, so he was looking after the kids while his wife, Annabeth was at a work seminar. He'd played tea parties and fairies more times than he'd fought monsters, that may or may not have been a bit of an exaggeration. Silena his daughter was now trying to get him to put on makeup and he was not in the mood to like a clown, especially when Jason and Piper were coming over later. Jason would never let him live it down, not after the red lipstick incident.

"Lena, how about we do something else?" Percy suggested. "Something that doesn't end up making me look like a failed runway model."

"But Daddy! I want to make you look like a princess!" His daughter whined and stomped on the floor in sheer six-year-old anger. Percy loved his children with all his heart, he really did but they could be SO annoying sometimes. He had no idea how Annabeth dealt with all the temper tantrums and crying because Percy had no idea what he was doing half the time.

Annabeth had a saying that she used quite often, "you can fight Titan overlords but you can't deal with a whiny child."

It sounded about right.

Then his son walked in and things got a whole heck of a lot worse.

"Silena can you shut up! Some of us are trying to study!" His seventeen-year-old son shouted. Luke had taken after his mother in the brains department, meaning that interrupting him while he was trying to study was the worse mistake anyone could ever make.

"DON'T BE A MEANIE POO! YOU SHUT UP!" Silena cried screaming at her older brother. The little girl then proceeded to lie on her stomach and scream as if her life depended on it.

Percy's head was spinning. At least when he was fighting monsters they didn't squeal way higher than should have been humanly possible.

Never mind they did do that.

The problem here was he couldn't kill a six-year-old child, more importantly, he couldn't kill his six-year-old child.

Not that he was going to.

Where is Annabeth when I need her?!

Percy didn't want to seem incompetent so he yelled, "OK! HOW ABOUT EVERY SHUTS UP!" Strangely enough, they both listened to him but that sure didn't stop them from glaring at each other.

Percy racked his brain for an idea, that proved to be difficult. "How about I tell you a story?" Silena clapped her hands happily and Luke groaned.

"Luke, you look tired why don't you take a break for a while?"

His son sighed and sat down on the bright blue beanbag. "Fine, but only because my stupid ADHD's is acting up." Both his son and daughter got the genetic curse of learning disabilities, Luke had ADHD and Silena had Dyslexia.

"Great, now which story would you two like to hear?" Being a demigod and all had given both him and Annabeth a lot of stories to tell, Luke had heard them all a hundred times as he claimed but even had to admit that they were quite interesting.
