The Kingdom Of Faerghus. Adrestian Empire. Leicester Alliance. No matter where you go, they always had something in common: Society and it's corrupted hierarchy. Nobles looked down on commoners, all because they don't have a Crest or because commoners didn't grow up in any fancy setting like the nobles. A lot of royalty believed themselves to be superior than the ordinary folks, and so believe they can do whatever they want. And even if you ignore the nobles, the commoners don't always treat each other as equals, such a perfect example is the crown prince of Faerghus' vassal, Dedue. One of the few survivors of the Tragedy Of Duscur, and yet his people, including himself, are blamed for the deaths that took place.

And then there are those, such as Claude von Riegan himself, who are hated just because they exist. Just because he is completely unpredictable for others, and no one knows how to see through the mask he carries. Or so according to my observations, that is how it appears to be. I've been paying a lot of attention to Jeralt's child, more than anyone, but upon their interactions with the other students, I have grown to learn much more than I ever have learned in the centuries I've lived. I realize now, more than ever, just how bad the life of all of these poor souls has truly been. If it wasn't for Nemesis and the ones who slaughtered my mother, I'm sure Fódlan would've been in much bigger peace, but unfortunately mankind's greed gets in the way of that, and so wars happen, all for the sake of their power, or to regain whatever sanity they have left. I grow weary of trying to look after these mortals, to do what mother would've wanted me to do.

*Knock knock*
"Rhea? Are you in there? Professor Byleth wishes to see you"

"I was just finishing up, Seteth. I will be there shortly"
She answers, her voice so soft and gentle, it could relax anyone who hears it. She closes the diary she was just writing on and puts it away under her bed. Just as she was about to leave the room, she glances once more at the place she hid the diary.

"Mother... I know that once the professor is ready, they will shape all of Fódlan into a better future"
