Elf king Kyle x Anxious male reader

Hey everyone this was another request a while back from spiffyofficial . Im not used to writing as a male reader so I tried my best and I hope it doesn't suck ass. But I hope y'all enjoy.
——Y/n POV——
     I was asleep and was woken up by a loud banging noise. I got up quickly thinking someone may have been trying to break into my house. I soon realized the banging noise was coming from the front door down stairs. I was currently home alone so I would have to be the one to answer it. I soon open the door and see a couple of elves, "The king requests for you and mentioned it was urgent." I quickly shut the door and ran back upstairs to grab and put on my elf outfit. As I do so I think about kyle. He's all I've been thinking about lately, because I think I may kinda like him. I run back down and the elves where already gone but I started running to get to the king. On the way there I kept worrying and thinking about what was so urgent. Did he get hurt? Were we under attack? I kept thinking of all things that could have gone bad on my way over there. I finally get to the king and he says,
"Y/n Your finally here! quickly get inside." I walk inside to find the Paladin Butters the Merciful tied to a chair. "Just let me go! I'll never tell you anything!" He kept yelling and squirming in the chair. "We found him snaking around probably trying to spy on us" The elf king announced.

—— Kyle POV——
     I announced out loud so everyone including
Y/n could hear the reasoning behind why he is here. "Hey y/n do you have any idea why he could possibly be around here?" He shook his head and looked worried about the whole situation. They do seem to be a anxious and worrisome person sometimes though. I look back at butters as he still struggles to escape. "I will soon be free elf king. The humans from Kupa keep will soon retrieve me, their paladin." He says with a smirk on his face. I look over to see the elf Guards in the same room as us. Y/n and I run out to see no one was keeping watch. "Who the hell is keeping watch!" Kyle yelled. Not long after a group of humans come barging in. "Give butters back you Jew elf." Says the wizard king Eric. "Sorry to say but he's ours now. I'm sure he's replaceable. Now do us all a favor and leave." Kyle says strictly. "You left me no choice..." Y/n looks at the Wizard king in confusion and is worried about what is to come next. "ATTACK!" Eric yells out and everyone goes into a full war. Y/n backs away a bit to not get hurt.

——Y/N POV——
     Humans start to rush in and they start going head to head with the elves. I look over to see the elf king kyle struggling a bit to fight. I quickly run over to kyle and pull them out of the war that is currently going down. I did that because I don't want him getting hurt or worse I just really care about him. Or maybe even like him a little but that's not the point right now. "Are you ok? Please don't be hurt." I ask. Kyle looks at me in frustration and a bit angered. "What the fuck y/n there is a war going on out there the elves need my help!" I look down to the ground because he yelled at me when I tried to help. He starts to calm down a bit. "Are you worried about me?" I look up at him quickly starting to get frustrated myself. "Yes of course isn't it obvious." I slightly yell at him. I instantly regretted doing so and started to think he hates me now because I raised my voice at him. "Why do you worry so much about me dude?" He says with curiosity. "I have my reasons." Not wanting to say why. "Just tell me y/n. Please." I look up in slight sadness now knowing he may hate me after I say the reasoning behind it. I sigh, "Kyle I like you. It's understandable if you hate me." He looks at me completely shocked not knowing how to respond to such information. "That was another worry of mine by the way. I'll leave dude I'm sorry." I look down to the ground and start to walk away. I suddenly hear, "Y/n!" I turn around and see Kyle running at me. I tilt my head in curiosity but suddenly I feel a burst of warmth on my lips. Kyle was kissing me. In all honesty it was the last thing I expected to happen. We break the kiss and he looks at me while blushing. "Well I guess it's a good thing I'm kinda into guys." we both start laughing. "Wanna finish this fight?" I ask. Kyle smiles at me and nods. We both run off to finish the war Eric has started.
