Part 6: A evening that will always be remembered

Nobody's pov:

"So, what should we do now? Go to Monstadt? Or should we rest? But hm.. it would be a but uncomfortable for you if you slept here... Do you want to find somewhere else? Or maybe go to my house in Monstadt? My dad's are there since they had to go somewhere for a while so this is the perfect opportunity. What do you say, Raz-" Bennett was interrupted by a finger going on his lips.

"Much talking..." Razor mumbled.

"Ah I'm sorry! Seems like I'm just saying everything that's coming to my mind heh .. but for real, what should we do now? I think we should go to my place!" Bennett says.

"Finee.." Razor says while crossing his arms, trying to look angry. Bennett thought this was cute and chuckled.

Bennett grabbed Razors hand while getting up. He felt much better though he was still a bit dizzy.

I'll just see Barbara tomorrow..

When they finally arrived at Monstadt, the sun was setting. Some shop keepers were closing their stores but some were still full of customers.

"Hey Razor! Wanna get some food at Good Hunter? There's lots of good food there and don't even get me started on how nice Sara is. She let me eat whatever I want for FREE sometimes. How crazy is that?! She really is ni-" Bennett was interrupted again. This time, it was Razor's stare that made him realise he was blabbering unnecessary stuff to Razor.

Razor noticed Bennett's guilty face and decided to do something about it
He caressed Bennett's cheek with his hand and smiled slightly, hoping it would make Bennett happy again.

Bennett flinched but soon had pink cheeks. He didn't know what to do but soon stopped panicking inside when he saw Razor's smile. Although it was a very very very small smile, it made Bennett feel special, wait, not that. It made him feel .. lucky.

Lucky to have someone else by his side. Lucky to have someone who cares for him. He couldn't accept it though. He thought that Razor would eventually leave him.

With this thought, he started to cry. He couldn't hold it in. He just cried. He didn't know if it was from happiness or from sadness. Maybe both. But all he knew was that Razor actually cares for him.

Razor quickly brought Bennett into a hug, not knowing what to do. He has never comforted a human. He tried his best though. Bennett took note of this and started crying even more. Now, his tears were made out of 99% happiness and 1% sadness. With no hesitation, Bennett dug his head into Razors shoulder and started to cry.

"Thank you so much Razor.." Bennett whispers into Razors ear.

Razor smiled in response and started rubbing Bennett's back. Although he knew some people were watching, he didn't care. All he cared about was Bennett.

"Bennett.. ok now?" Razor asked after a while of hearing Bennett's cries.

"Mhm... Wanna go get some food now? It's gonna be nighttime soon .." Bennett says as he stops hugging Razor and wipes his eyes.

Razor nods and grabs Bennett's hand. Bennett was about to pull away but noticed the wolf boy smiling. He was a bit red too. Bennett felt like he was going to faint. How cute Razor's smile was made him go red. Razor's sharp, pointy teeth showed and it was just adorable.

"Heh... Nice smile you got there..."

"Oh. Thank you. Bennett smile very ..bea-u-ti-ful.. too.." Razor tries to pronounce the word beautiful but instead just sounds out each syllable slowly.

Bennett chuckles at the sight of his "friend". Deep inside though, he was crying. He thought Razor would just leave him like the others. He would then be left with Fischl again.

Might as well enjoy it until it lasts..
