Part 16: The chief alchemist steps in?

Nobody's pov:

Lisa walks to Jean's office. She goes and finds nobody sitting at her desk. Confused, she looks around the room. Jean wasn't there but Albedo was.

Albedo was looking through the shelves of books in the office. He seems like he is searching for a certain book.

"Oh hello, Mr. Albedo. Do you happen to know where Jean is?"

"Oh. Hello, Miss. Lisa. Unfortunately, I do not. However, I did see Noelle and Jean walking out of the headquarters a while ago. If you don't mind me asking, why are you looking for the acting grand master? I'm a tad bit curious.."

"Oh.. just need her help with choosing a romantic place for a confession to happen.."

"A romantic place, you say? I can help if you want. But, you should approach the acting grand master first. She does know more places here. If you can't find her, feel free to approach me. I'll be in my lab."

"Alright then! Thanks a lot!" Lisa says while waving her hand. Albedo raises up his hand a little and goes back to work.

Aah. Now I get why Kaeya likes him. A flirty man and a gentleman that is also a very serious person. Hmm, a nice pair I suppose.
Lisa's thoughts ^

Lisa exits the Knights of Favonius headquarters and tries to look for Jean.

"Noelle! Noelle! Have you seen Jean? You were with her, yes? Where did she go?"

"Oh, hello Miss. Lisa! Acting grand master Jean had to go to Dragonspine for a big mission.
She told me there was at least 5 Mitachurls and 15 hilichurls around a certain area near the entrance of Dragonspine. I tried persuading her into bringing someone else like Kaeya or Amber, but she didn't listen.."

"Ohh. I see. Thank you very much. I'll see you soon. Remember to rest!"

"Thank you very much! See you soon."

Oh my.. time is ticking.. I have to get to Albedo fast.
Lisa's thoughts ^

Without thinking, Lisa ran all the way to Albedo's lab that was not near the Knights headquarters at all. It was actually at the back of Monstadt. A tiny apartment that was used for crazy experiments.

Though she got lots of weird stares, Lisa kept on running and finally met up with the small wooden door that led to Albedo's lab.

"Albedo!! I'm back. We kind of need to hurry though. It's almost time!" Lisa said as she opened the door.

Albedo got a bit shocked by the librarian bursting in but calmed down a second later.

"Oh alright then.
Let's see.. what are our options?"

Abt the Kaebedo fanfic, I think I might do a whole story. I'm thinking of doing a modern AU for the Kaebedo fic but I'll see.

Also, ik there isn't any sign of Bennett or Razor in this part but I'll try to include them in the next :)
