Part 23: Parting ways.

"And then Diluc slapped that bard's head and told him to go drink in Natlan or something!"Bennett laughed, with a chicken leg in his hand.

"Life in Mondstadt does sound fun huh," Xinyan said before munching on the chicken mushroom skewer.

"You guys are going so soon? It has only been like 2 days!!" Bennett sighed.

"Haha, apologies. Some of our friends are waiting for us therefore we have to return. Till we meet again, my lieges." Xingqiu chuckles and goes over to Razor and shakes his hand.

"Bye." Razor says.

The three walk away, returning to the city of contracts. Bennett turns to look at Razor and rubs his head.

"Hey uh Razor? I gotta do a commission in Dragonspine. I'll see you later," Bennett hugs Razor and starts walking away aswell.

"Now then, what do you think?" Albedo asks Kaeya.

"Hmm, I don't really know. It is a giant risk. The traveller claimed that they would come visit Mond every once in a while. It's been a few weeks so it's likely they're gonna show up." Kaeya scratches his head.

"That's covered. You see, I got one of our old friends back then to take care of that. Do you remember Thoma?" Albedo smirks, staring in Kaeyas eye.

"His in this too? Interesting." Kaeya slowly takes off his eyepatch, revealing his second eye. It had a scar over it but was yellow and black in colour. Albedo stared at it in awe for a moment before speaking again.

"So I guess it's all set. Perfect."

"Hold up. We need someone's opinion!"

Albedo frowned in confusion. He looked at the blue haired captain who was now facing a tree near them.

"We need to hear what my dear child thinks about this.
Come on out now, Bennett.
Since you heard everything, you can tell us your thoughts."

"Where has that captain gone.. Tch. The Windblume Festival is coming soon." Lisa groans. She has been looking for Kaeya for at least an hour now.

After all the work, she decided to take a break at Diluc's tavern. As she sits down on a chair, she starts talking to Rosaria while Diluc was cleaning glasses.

"Maybe he went somewhere to sleep with someone or something. That man is a whore. A flaming homosexual too." Rosaria says after taking a sip of some dandelion wine.

"Trueeeeee anyways diluc *hiccup* can I have some moreeeee? Or do I have to suck your d-" Venti gets interrupted by Diluc slapping him.

"Apologies for this stupid bard." Diluc calmly says as he slaps the bard again.
