"Daddy I can't believe you are accusing Chris of this. He had nothing to do with her being crazy. Yes he may have introduced her to the family in a negative way but he had no idea that she was derange." Rika said.
"That's the entire point he introduced her to us. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be going through this shit. So yes I blame him. And he's not marrying you nor having kids with you so you can forget it." Albert said standing up.
"That's not your decision. Tell him mom. He don't have that say." Rika said looking at her mom for comfort.
"She's right Al. We don't have a say in her life in that matter. Now you need to calm down and listen to reason." Dianna said.
"Listen to reason? Listen to reason my ass. I am not accepting this and that is that." Albert said walking up to Chris.
"And then you have the nerve to come up here as if you was innocent." Albert said in his face.
Chris bit down on his lip to keep from disrespecting Albert. He didn't know how much more he could take of him being bluntly disrespectful to him.
"With all due respect sir I didn't violate your space so if you don't mind I will that you step out my face. This is between us not us and the family." Chris said to Albert firmly not backing down at all.
"How dare you say this shit to me?" Albert said to Chris stepping closer to his face.
"Again with all due respect I suggest you step out my face sir. I didn't disrespect you so I will not allow you to do it to me." Chris said as he looked at him without blinking.
"Come on Dad. Just let it go. This is not the place nor the time for you to be acting this way." Quincy said to his Dad grabbing his arm.
"Let me go Quincy. And you stay out of this. I warned you didn't I?" Albert said turning to Quincy giving him this look of disappointment and frustration.
"Really Dad? Like why are you being so down right nasty about things? Mom is here laying in the hospital and you out here acting like that don't even matter to you at all. Like Rik is grown. Let her make her own decisions." Quincy said as he snatched his arm from his Dad backing up to his mom bed.
"And again you fix your mouth to talk against me boy?" Albert said to Quincy facing him.
"Dad..." Quincy said as he looked back at his father without hesitation.
"Stop this mess now. This is not how this family operate. Al please sit down and Quincy go take a walk. Chris take Rika with you as well. Y'all go get a breather. Let me talk with your father." Dianna said putting order in the room.
They all did what she said to do. Dianna waited until everyone was out the room and turned and faced Albert.
"Al I'm so disappointed in you. How dare you sit up here and act out in such a matter with me in this hospital? Huh? This is ridiculous. These are your children. And they have taken an ordeal. And you can't see that? All you care about is going back and forth with everyone." Dianna said to him with her arms crossed over her chest looking him eye to eye.
"Dianna this is serious. This boy has ruined this family. He could have taken my damn wife from me. And you want me to sit back and let him take my daughter too? Hell no." Al said standing back up pacing the floor.
"Excuse me? He didn't shoot me. That crazy bitch did. So don't go blaming him for that. She was out to hurt our son too. That girl knew what she was doing. Not only us but Chris too. How can you be so inconsiderate?" Dianna said back.
"Why are you taking up for him? You act like you aren't mad or something." Al said walking to her side of the bed.
"I am. At the right people. And this is not the time for you to be out here like a loose cannon. We need to be together on this. You act like Chris had this planned." Dianna said.
"I don't want to hear this anymore. If this is what you about to talk about I'm leaving. You or no one else is gonna make to let this go." Albert said standing up.
"Sit your ass down. You are not leaving here until I say." Dianna said pointing to the bed raising her voice.
Albert didn't say nothing. He looked her in her eyes and stood there for a second before he sat down.
"Al you know this is not the right way to handle this. I love you with everything in me. But you got to let these kids be grown. They aren't kids anymore. And let's not forget you cheated on me sexually. Had a child on me. And if Quincy knew that he would have a entire fit. Now do you want that to get out?" Dianna said to him as she looked him in his eyes.
Albert just looked at her. He didn't have no words to say. After a moment be begin to speak.
"Di I know I messed up in the past. I know I hurt you. I get it. Quincy was a accident. I never meant to hurt you with that. And for you to take him as your son was a big sacrifice. I love you and I love my kids. And I know how that can be on a relationship. Please let this boy go. Look what it done to us. Raising Quincy as your own and keeping it under wraps was hard enough." Albert admits.
The door slams. Dianna and Albert looked at the door and saw everyone standing there. Quincy was standing with his mouth open. Tears was building up in his eyes. Chris was shocked too.
"So you're not my mother?" Quincy asked.
"And you gave me a hard time about some head and you lied about Quincy this entire time?" Chris said.
"Wait let me explain." Al said standing up.
