Rika jumped up and grabbed her purse and keys and ran to the car. She don't know what is going on with this girl but she knew she was crazy. Rika pulled out her phone and called her brother. The phone rung a few times and he answered.
"What's up sis?" Quincy said to Rika.
"I need you. Where are you?" Rika said through tears.
"Wait are you crying? What did that nigga do? I'll kill him." Quincy said.
"It's not him. Well it's him but he didn't do anything. He's missing. I think this deranged fan kidnapped him." Rika explains to Quincy.
"What? So call the police. What you want me to do? I don't like his ass for what he did to you." Quincy blurted out.
"Q not now please. I need you to help me find him. I can't loose him. Please." Rika said crying even more.
"Fuck man. Ok. Come get me. And I'm only doing this cause I love you." Quincy said to Rika.
"I'm almost there now be outside. I don't want to involve mom and dad." Rika said.
"Fine I'm getting up now. I'll be out front. But if they ask me what's going on I promise you I will not lie." Quincy said as a matter of fact.
"Quincy please don't do that. I don't want them all in my business. And I think Chris is in trouble for real." Rika said.
"Alright alright. Just come on before I change my mind." Quincy said putting on his shoes.
Quincy walked out his room and headed downstairs to meet Rika to help find Chris. Their mom and dad was downstairs sitting at the dinner table talking.
Quincy knew someone was gonna ask where he was going. He tired walking fast so they didn't have the chance to ask. But he was not successful with his actions.
"And where are you going in such a rush?" Albert asked Quincy.
"Out with a errand. I'll be back shortly." Quincy said trying to keep the questions down.
"What errands? You just been leaving a lot lately." Dianna asked.
"Mama it's not a big deal. My ride will be here any minute. I need to be out front. I'll see you later." Quincy said.
"Nah. You up to something and I want to know. Where are you going?" Dianna asked again.
"Mom!! Seriously? I'm not a kid anymore. Can I just go. If it makes you feel any better I'm not doing nothing illegal. It's just a errand." Quincy said.
"Now you gonna tell us. We never said nothing about illegal anything. Now get to talking. And I mean now!" Albert said.
Quincy rolled his eyes. He turned and faced his parents. He told Rika they would do this.
"Aight. Fine. I'm going to help Rik. She got something she needs me to do." Quincy said.
"And that is?" Albert said.
"Dad! Come on man. I can't get into that. She just needs me. And I said I'll help her." Quincy said.
"Q don't come at me like I'm your little friend. I'm your father. And this is your mother. And we didn't raise you to be disrespectful. Now spill it." Albert said getting in his face.
"Fine. She thinks Chris is in trouble. Something about some deranged fan kidnapping him and she wants me to help her find him." Quincy said.
"Wait what? No you aren't going." Dianna said.
"Mama don't do that. I can't let her down like this. I don't like the nigga but that's my sister." Quincy said as a matter of fact.
"You heard your mother. You are not going. If she feels that he is in some kind of danger she needs to call the authorities. She's not going either." Albert said walking to the door.
Albert walked outside and waited for his daughter to pull up. As soon as the car pulled up Rika knew they knew. She cut the car off and rushed to the house.
Albert stopped her before she could get in the house good.
"And where do you think you're going?" Albert asked Rika.
"To get Q." Rika said.
"No you're not. Quincy told us what was going on. And you're not going either." Albert said.
"Daddy please don't do this. Trey said he is in danger. I got to get to him." Rika said to her father.
"Call the authorities. That's what they get paid for. You are not about to go out there looking for some grown ass man that don't do right by you anyway. So if you think I'm about to ok that you don't know me at all." Albert said looking his daughter straight in the eyes.
"Daddy why are you doing this. If this was mama and you was missing she would do the same thing." Rika tried to explain.
"See that's where you are wrong. She would call the cops. Your mama is not gonna put herself at risk too to find me. She will do it the right way. And that's through the authorities. Now get your ass in this house. You nor Quincy is going anywhere." Albert demanded as he points to the door to the house.
Rika knew she couldn't get pass her dad so she walked in the house with a attitude. Walking in behind her he closed the door and set the alarm.
"Both of y'all sit down. Dianna come in here. You need to know what is going on." Albert said.
Dianna walked in and sat on the sofa. Albert started explaining what he was told by Rika. Dianna eyes got big.
"Rika I know damn well you was not about to do this." Dianna said.
"Mama what am I supposed to do. I can't loose him. We are wasting time. We could be out there looking." Rika said to her mom.
"Now what we gonna do is call the authorities and let them handle this and we are gonna wait and see what happens." Dianna said.
"I'll go call. Come on Rika. We will go in my office and handle this." Albert said.
"Yes sir." Rika said as tears fell down her face.
