"is y/n in?"

you hear two familiar voices engaged in conversation at the lobby. it's probably a big hunch to say that one of them is levi, because he's supposed to working ay the tea shop right now, but you never know!

"sir, miss ackerman isn't here right now, but she'll be back shortly."

"sorry, sasha." you cross your arms, and she looks at you with a nonchalant face, but you could also sense slight relief.

you question it at first, and then realize the person she's talking to is levi. god, he's probably being a menace once again to the staff right now.

"what are you doing here? did you make armin and the others look after the shop again?"

he hummed. "maybe."

"you can't keep doing that, dumbass! they're already doing so much for us-"

he rolls his eyes, before apologizing and telling you that "he'll make sure not to do it again."

it was true you always liked seeing him. but you can't have those idiots running the shop without either yourself or levi there. usually something always goes wrong so you don't really understand why levi just runs off sometimes.

..it's been so long, hasn't it? since high school. so since it's been eight years — let's catch up a bit.

you and levi got married a year ago- both proposing on the same night. it was funny, because apparently to your friends you were both so obvious about the planning but didn't even realize until that very night.

it was surprising even for you-

for someone who thought marriage was a scam, growing up.

anyway, you vividly remember him telling you that the drinks served at the wedding should only be water and tea- but then you immediately said no because it would "be embarrassing", and your guests would probably complain. no, they would most definitely complain.

levi called you immature and an idiot for it (even though you know he was just being salty), but after hearing it for so long, you weren't even surprised anymore.

anyway, about the tea shop- it probably doesn't ring any bells, but you got it for him, like promised all those years ago. he thought it was a joke, you never did. and so because of that, he pretty much teared up on the spot.

yes, i caught it on camera.

levi owns and manages the shop now, and you're really so proud of him. he seems to be happy, and you're glad that's the case.

you, on the other hand?

well- in your words, 'not to brag', but you're a multi-millionaire and the CEO of Ackerman co, only at the age of 25, hence why you got that tea shop for him.
