Christmas morning.

A day of Evans family traditions.

The first being cooking Christmas breakfast with Lily.

Since we were kids, we'll old enough to use the oven.

We loved to spoil our family on Christmas as it was the only real holiday we were home.

We always made a pretty huge amount of different foods.

French toast,

Danish shaped like a candy cane,
Gingerbread men shaped pancakes,

We also did the normal breakfast foods, Bacon, eggs, sausage toast.

All washes down with hot chocolate, tea or coffee.

It had been this way since we were kids and dad used to wake us up to help him.

Then as we got older, we started doing it all our selves, until it became Lily and I's Christmas day tradition.

Just as I began plating up the last of the food Lily and I had made Mum, dad and Tuney walked in, all looking tired.

"Merry Christmas guys." Lily and I called out together as we walked over and kissed mum and dad's cheek and hugged Tuney.

"Merry Christmas girls." Mum smiled.

"Looks amazing as always Rose Bud. " Dad smiled.

"Thanks daddy." We both grinned together, sitting down at the table.

Once sat, we all joined hands and began out prayer, this year was Lily's turn.

*** gets a bit religious here for a second. Not wanting to offend anybody, so I'll make it quick.***

"Dear lord, thank for the food we eat, the clothes on our back and shoes on our feet. Thank you for our friends and family and the love we share each day. Bless my family, bless my friends and bless me us. Thank you for a wonderful year and I pray you bless the year to come.

Amen."

"Amen." We all repeated before tucking in to our food, enjoying quiet conversation.

After breakfast Lily and I rushed up stairs to change into our Christmas dress for this year.

It was a simple red dress, sort of 50's style.

I won't bore you with the whole day.

It went as such.

Photos,

Helping mama make dinner.

A family game of whatever we could find.

Monopoly, chess... well actually Lily and I played wizards chess while mum and dad watched.

We watched the holiday specials before Lily, Tuney and I set the dinner table.

Soon dinner arrived and sat down and ate, only stopping for dad's Christmas speach, which realistically was just dad's sappy way of telling us he's proud of us all and he loved us all.

After dinner, that's when things picked up.

With dinner finally over we sat down to open presents.

Having already received the boys and girls- Lily and I having already sent theirs off- we started with them.

It was a tradition between the boys and I to send two gifts. One was a real gift, one we'd put thought into. For example, I had gotten Remus a new light for his books when reading at night, Peter got a muggle electronic game, which he would no doubt ask me to show him how to use when we go back to school. Sirius got a few records and James got a signed photo of Quidditch playerj I know he liked, although I had no idea who he was.
