Before the two knew it, it was finally Monday. To say Wonwoo was nervous is an understatement. If it wasn't for Cheeto bringing him back to reality, he and Mingyu would've had burnt eggs for breakfast. He also almost forgot his phone at home which slightly worried Mingyu. When they arrived, Mingyu stopped the other from getting out of the car. "Won, wait" the older raised a brow and tilted his head in confusion. "You know we don't have to tell them right? We can just tell them it's personal and they should forget about it" Wonwoo hated himself for even considering doing something like that. He's happy with Mingyu, why should their opinion matter? Why did he have to be so insecure about it?
"No, I wanna tell them. I'm just a bit...nervous" Mingyu intertwined their fingers together and tightened his grasp. "Okay. I just don't want you to feel pressured" he pecked his lips and Wonwoo found himself staring at him for a bit before the other leaned in and connected their lips together again. This time, for a longer, more passionate kiss.
Mingyu pulled away after a minute and kept their foreheads touching "I needed that, thank you" the older whispered as he stared at the younger's lips. Wonwoo wanted to connect their lips again but Mingyu backed away a bit with a chuckle. "I get it. I'm irresistible, but you don't want to be late now do you, my love?" the spectacled man chuckled at his husband's messy hair before fixing it with a fond smile. His hands naturally slid from the younger's hair to his cheeks as he cupped it with honey dripping from his eyes.
Mingyu mirrored his expression as Wonwoo spoke softly "No matter what they say, I hope it doesn't affect our current relationship because I've never been so happy with someone in my life" the younger chuckled and nodded his head "Aye aye, captain" he teased and Wonwoo couldn't help but laugh along as he realized how sappy he sounded.
Little did the married couple know, two people were watching them in shock as they tried to process the scene ahead of them. The two looked at each other, hands covering their mouths as they started to whisper "Mingyu is sleeping with Mr.Kim?!" "Gyu likes our English teacher?!" the short eighteen-year-old whisper shouted to the other eighteen-year-old. "Ji!" Jeonghan hit his shoulder and the younger couldn't even chuckle at the playful act because of the shock. "We should talk to Gyu about this. I'm sure he'll explain" Jeonghan said and Jihoon nodded but then he panicked as he saw their friend finally come out of the teacher's car. "Shit shit they're coming! Hide!"
"I'll see you at the teacher's lounge" Wonwoo subtly nodded at the other and they parted ways, finally entering the school. Mingyu saw his friends waving excitedly at him but he contemplated whether to go to them or go straight to the lounge so they could get the talk over with before the start of their classes. Finally deciding on the latter, he just nodded his head at them with a small smile before rushing to the teacher's lounge after his husband.
His friends gave him a weird look and Jihoon and Jeonghan silently exchanged knowing glances before quickly away.
"Am I late?" Mingyu carefully asked as he entered the lounge seeing everyone already seated looking at his husband with different gazes. "Nope, just in time. Take a seat, Mingyu" Seokmin said and the youngest quickly sat next to his clearly nervous husband, taking his hand under the table.
"Okay, look. We don't want to make you uncomfortable or upset, we just want to know what you two have going on. What we saw on Thursday definitely wasn't something a teacher and student should be doing together" Jisoo said in a stern yet somehow soft tone. "Don't take this wrong way! We're just worried for you, Wonwoo since you're still new to the job..." Seungkwan followed.
Wonwoo sighed and decided to just spill the beans because there's no way they could escape this.
"Mingyu and I are married. We were arranged and got officially wedded a week before school. Let's just say during that week we built a relationship that's more than just an arranged marriage, and are currently in a very happy and healthy relationship so we hope you accept us"
"Also we didn't know that we would be in the same school. We only found out on the first day of school and decided to keep it low when we're here"
There was a bit of silence after Wonwoo finished so he looked at his husband for reassurance. Mingyu mouthed to him "good job" as he flashed him a sweet comforting smile that eased his nerves and tightened the hold on hand.
The teachers exchanged glances and Samuel couldn't but chuckle. "You know what, even though I'm the principal and could get in a problem for this. If it's true love, then I'll cheer you two on. Just don't cause any trouble" Seokmin patted Wonwoo's back with a gentle smile and said "Take care of my number one student for me, alright? Make sure he stays fit and eats healthy food" the spectacled man couldn't help but smile and nod his head at the P.E teacher.
The rest of the teachers took the news positively and hoped for the couple's marriage to go well and for them to have a happy life together. Soon, the bell rang and the teachers left the couple alone in the teachers' lounge to talk.
As soon as they were alone, Wonwoo threw himself on Mingyu with a bright smile and hugged him like it's the last day of his life. "I'm so happy right now, Gyu!" the older exclaimed and Mingyu felt like he's on cloud nine when Wonwoo giggled surely in his ear. The younger held his husband by the waist and placed him on his lap so they could hug properly. "You did so well, Won. I'm so proud of you"
Wonwoo pulled from the hug, still on Mingyu's lap. "I freaking love you so much you don't even know" he whispered and Mingyu smiled "oh I know and I love you three thousand times more" he mumbled before pressing his lips to the other. Wonwoo liked how their lips fit together like puzzle pieces and he liked how safe he felt in Mingyu's arms. It's like he never wants to get away from the protection of the younger. His fingers found their way to Mingyu's hair and he played with his hair causing Mingyu to almost faint at how hot it felt.
Mingyu bit the older's lip and Wonwoo couldn't suppress the moan that escaped his lips. "We're in school, Gyu" he mumbled against the other's lips without making the effort to pull away from the younger's embrace. Mingyu soon pulled away, eyes dazed as he stared at Wonwoo red, swollen lips and messy clothes. "You look so hot right now, Won. I couldn't help it" he wanted to grab the older's lips again but the other backed away and got up quickly fixing himself, the younger following him.
"The bell rang a while go, we should go. I have your class anyways" Wonwoo said with a smile, but then chuckled when he saw Mingyu struggling to fix his hair without a mirror. He stood in front of him and pouted "Don't laugh at my misery" Wonwoo shook his head and fixed his husband's hair and uniform. "There, good as new. Let's go"
They smiled and opened the door to leave but there they saw a worried Jeonghan and Soonyoung waiting for them outside. The squint-eyed teen looked like he just saw his pet dog die for the fourth time. "Mingyu, I— we need to talk.."
Hm what will happen next I wonder ~(˘▾˘~)
