"I like you, Soonyoung," Jihoon said "No no, not like this" he shook his head as he looked away from himself in the mirror. "Maybe I shouldn't say it now..No, Lee Jihoon, you've got this! Yeah..." the small teenager said in doubt as he contemplated his decision to confess to his long-time crush.

"Jihoon? Are you okay? You've been in the bathroom for a while" he heard Wonwoo's concerned voice call from outside the bathroom and sighed. Jihoon slowly opened the door revealing to the older his devastated expression "What's wrong?" "I'm scared he'll do to me what Mingyu did to him..." The smaller said in a small voice and that was Wonwoo's turn to sigh. "Look, I told you, if you're not ready, you don't have to do it. It's okay" "Yeah, but I want this to end. I don't this one-sided thing to continue! I feel like my whole life is centered around my feelings for Soonyoung and I'm done with it! I felt that for too long...I just want to be loved back"

Wonwoo held Jihoon's shoulders to make him look at him "Just take a deep breath, and you're overthinking this. Don't think negatively, but also you gotta face reality and know that rejection might happen, that's how life is. Look at Soonyoung, he got rejected by Mingyu and a month later he's living his best life, right?" Jihoon looked down at his fingers, mumbling incoherent words under his breath. Without a second thought, Wonwoo pulled Jihoon to a comforting hug that would help calm his nerves and give some comfort.

Just as he was about to say something, they both heard Mingyu's voice as he called for Wonwoo "Won! The guys are— uh what's going on?" he said with a hint of irritation in his voice and Jihoon couldn't help but snort at his reaction before pulling away from the hug. "Oh nothing, I just tripped and Wonwoo helped me. I'll go see what the guys need" the smallest said before leaving.

Mingyu raised an eyebrow at Wonwoo and the older shook his head with a chuckle "It's nothing, love. Now come here and hug me, I feel cold" the younger smirked and was quick to secure his arms around his husband's waist, pulling him very close to him, their chests touching. "You feel better?' Wonwoo nodded his head with a smile and Mingyu mirrored his expression. "I think you need a bit more than a hug. How about...this?" he said before catching the older's lips with his causing him to laugh into the kiss.

Just as Wonwoo was about to respond the bell rang and Mingyu pulled away with a groan "Always have to ruin my moment! Ugh!" he whined like a baby as he made his way to open the door. Meanwhile, Wonwoo laughed at him and went to the living room where both their friend groups were sitting and playing around together.

"Who is it, Gyu?" Wonwoo asked after a few minutes of waiting but got no response back. So, he decided to check for himself. "Jun!" he exclaimed when he saw his best friend standing with his husband and daughter. The two lunged at each other and grasped each other so tightly "I missed you so much! When did you come back from China?" Wonwoo asked while slowly pulling away to take a better look at the older's expression which was just as bright as his.

"We arrived yesterday night and went straight to bed. That's why I couldn't call, also k wanted to surprise you" Wonwoo nodded in understanding and then looked at the adorable two-year-old that was a copy-paste of her fathers "Huiyoungie~" he cooed as he carried her causing her to giggle and hug his neck. "Miss you" she said, snuggling her head in his shoulder as he patted her back softly, knowing how much comfort it gives her. "Come in you two, you should properly meet Gyu"

As soon as the child was in sight, Seungkwan was quick on his feet as he ran up to her with a wide smile "Oh my God! Who is this~?" he cooed as he watched Huiyoung play with Wonwoo's ear. "This is Moon Huiyoung, my best friend's daughter, Junhui" Wonwoo introduced as he pointed at each person "and this is Minghao, his husband" the teachers and eighteen-year-olds greeted and introduced themselves to each other as they were all sat in the living room.

As their friends talked, Jihoon was fiddling with his fingers, still very nervous of the thought of confessing, but the idea of holding on to his first love and not being able to move on scares him. And the thought of having this one-sided romance hurt him even more than anything. Suddenly, he was upon his feet, dragging Soonyoung outside to the backyard, shocking everyone including himself.

"We need to talk" he said. "Uhm okay, what is it?" "I don't wanna make this long and cheesy so I'll say it straightforwardly. I like you, Kwon Soonyoung"

Long, painful, and uncomfortable two minutes of silence passed before the older spoke up. "You...what?" "I didn't stutter, Kwon" came Jihoon's response and Soonyoung scratched the back of his neck "I don't know what to say, to be honest..." The smaller looked at Soonyoung straight in the eye and said "Let me court you for two months. If you don't like it, drop me. I won't force you to go any longer than that if you don't want to"

Soonyoung might be told Jeonghan he isn't ready to have a romantic relationship after what happened with Mingyu, but deep inside he feels like this might be a good choice. Maybe this will be the beginning of a new era in his life. This might help him move on faster from his first love. So should he take the risk and let the younger court him or not?

"Okay, I'll let you court me" Jihoon smiled so bright that you could count all his teeth. That was how happy he was. He was beyond excited. His dreams might become reality. His one-sided romance is ending. "I should thank Wonwoo for this later" "When's the first date?" Soonyoung asked, snapping Jihoon out of his daze "Uhm, how about after tomorrow at 8? I'll pick you up" "Great!"

Wonwoo played with Huiyoung for hours and hours, until she passed out, not realizing that Mingyu and Minghao were watching intently. Minghao was in awe at how well the older gets along with children and Mingyu with fondness in his eyes thinking that maybe just maybe one day the child would be carrying would their's.

"You're really good with kids, Won" Mingyu said with a smile and Wonwoo looked at him before looking at the sleeping toddler in his arms "Huiyoungie is just a really special child. She's much calmer than others, that's why it's easier to handle her" the younger shook his head in disagreement and said "No, you're just good at playing with babies. Which would make you a great parent in the future" Wonwoo's ears flushed in red and he avoided eye contact with Mingyu as the other found himself chuckling at his reaction.

"I'm glad my parents set us up" "and I'm glad I agreed to the offer" The younger leaned down to Wonwoo's flushed ears and whispered "I love you" before looking at him and pecking his forehead. Wonwoo whispered back very lowly "I love you too" embarrassed at the fact that they just did that in front of their friends. "This will always be the best things that happened to me"
