"Are you okay with telling them?" currently, it was lunchtime and Mingyu was in the teacher's lounge with the teachers and his husband avoiding his friends ever since their encounter in the morning. It's not that he didn't want to tell his friends, it's just that what would they think of him now? He's married to a man four years older than him that he met less than a month ago. Not to mention, he didn't graduate from school yet nor go to college. Also knowing that Seungcheol and Jeonghan are like the parents of the group, he is scared he'll get scolded. Even the thought of it sends shivers down his spine. Trust me, you never want to see Seungcheol mad.

"I just asked you a question, Gyu" Wonwoo spoke again, bringing Mingyu back to reality. The younger just sighed and covered his face "I don't know Won. I know they will be upset, and I really don't like it when my only friends are upset at me" Wonwoo rubbed comforting circles on his back to ease the tension but it wasn't working as much as he hoped it would.

"I think you should just come out clean to them before classes start again" Chan said as he sat next to Samuel. "Chan's right. You should go talk to them now. I think they're waiting outside anyways" Seokmin agreed as he munched on his salad. The youngest couldn't help but sigh and get up from his seat "You want me to come with you?" Mingyu looked at his husband and nodded pleadingly "Yes please" he said with a pout and Wonwoo couldn't help but give a small smile and get up as well. "Good luck" Jisoo said and Mingyu nodded before the married couple left the lounge to see Mingyu's group of friends waiting outside.

"Hey.." Mingyu waved awkwardly and Jeonghan just sighed "Are you finally done running away from us?" he deadpanned and Seungcheol winced at how mean that sounded. "Hannie, calm down. Let's go somewhere and talk this out properly" the tall eighteen-year-old nodded and clasped his hands together to stop them from fidgeting.

They ended up in the back of the school. A place where Mingyu and Wonwoo would secretly eat together, but obviously no one knew that. Mingyu wouldn't dare tell his friends that he lied to them when he told them that he wants to go to the toilet but actually wants to eat with his husband.

"So care to explain why you were in the same car doing...things with Mr.Kim and what we saw in the teacher's lounge?" Jihoon spoke up this time, his serious tone scaring his other friends. Mingyu felt so weak under everyone's gaze. He wanted to cry. He was put on the spot and everyone cornered him to speak. Seeing Mingyu's bottom lip quiver, Wonwoo's tense body softened and he reached to hold his hand.

When Mingyu turned to look at him, he gave a warm reassuring smile just like how the other did when he was nervous. It was like the whole world stopped and it was only the two of them together. Moments like these made the couple think that they were really made for each other and their arranged marriage was fate. "Need a hug?" Wonwoo whispered and Mingyu nodded before snuggling himself against his husband's body as they sat next to each other. The older wrapped his arms around him and rubbed comforting circles on his back.

"Should we stop them?" Seungcheol whispered to Jeonghan and the other had to but back a smile at how sweet the scene was. He turned to his own boyfriend and shook his head. Soonyoung on the other hand felt the exact opposite. He thought it was disgusting. He felt jealous. Why is it that teacher and not him? Jihoon noticed the frown on his crush's face and couldn't help but clench his hands.

A minute later, the couple pulled away and Mingyu finally found himself smiling again. "Thanks, I needed that" Wonwoo nodded, their fingers still intertwined. Again, they found themselves in awkward silence and Soonyoung was getting more mad. "You know what, I'm done" he said and got up about to leave but Mingyu's voice stopped him from doing so. "Wait! I'll explain now" Soonyoung looked back before rolling his eyes and sitting back down.

Taking a deep breath, Mingyu spoke up again "We're married" Jeonghan gasped and Soonyoung's face just dropped. "What do you mean you're married?!" the squinty-eyed teen said but Seungcheol glared at him to put him back in place until the other was done explaining. "We're an arranged marriage, but after spending time together it became something more than just an arrangement and well, we're very happy together"

"If you don't mind me asking, when did you two get...married?" Wonwoo chuckled at how careful the other was and answered "A week before school started. We actually didn't know we would be in the same school until the first day of school, which is why we kept it a secret" Mingyu chuckled at the memory and looked at his husband "but now the teachers and you know so there's no point of hiding it"

"Why did you hide it though?" Jihoon asked "Well I was scared of how everyone would react to a teacher and student getting married you know..not everybody will take it well" Wonwoo answered sheepishly. "Well, you're right because I think it's disgusting!" Soonyoung angrily spat before storming away from them. Seeing the hurt look on Wonwoo's face angered Mingyu and he was quick on his feet. He ran after Soonyoung and grabbed his arm to stop him.

"Take it back now!" he yelled only to be welcomed with the sight of angry tears running down Soonyoung's face. "Why are you crying?" he asked, voice small in shock and face soft. "Because you chose him over me! I like you, dumbass! Why him not me? I—" he was cut off with a broken sob as his knees gave up on him and he fell on the ground. Mingyu stood there trying to process the information he got. One of his closest friends liked him? But...how?

"I-I'm sorry, Soonyoung, but I'm married. I've always thought of you as a brother and I don't think that'll ever change. I'm sorry" Just like that, Mingyu walked away leaving Soonyoung crying on the ground with a broken heart.
